Pro: I purchased this originally because I was testing it for efficacy on keeping a large fountain in our community courtyard free of algae without using bleach. I'm allergic to bleach and they all seem to have some kind of detergent in them now which causes enormous suds to bubble up higher than the entire fountain area,. Although bleach will kill off the green algae, it is harmful to the hummingbirds that like to dip into the 3 tier waterfalls for a daily cleansing of their feathers. They don't drink the water, as they get all the liquid they need from nectar feeders here but they need to preen their feathers to fly accurately without risking drowning in birdbaths if they get waterlogged. This PureLife™ 12% Hydrogen Peroxide Food Grade with No Added Stabilizers product is less harmful, and I am careful to only put it in the fountain at night when the hummers have gone back to their nests to sleep (torpor). By the next morning, it will be safe for them to use again. I only use a third of a bottle at a time for the 6 foot fountain and it will take about a week for the green algae to disappear completely during summer months. This is because no one knew how to prevent the algae from forming without hurting the birds, so I spoke with the new apartment manager that I would be happy to donate maintenance of the fountain as a community service in order to keep the fountain and the birds healthy as long as no one kept adding bleach to it. That was our solution to keeping the stone fountain as a beautiful gathering place for us all to enjoy. I also have a personal small 3 foot fountain on my back porch that only needs less than 1/8 of a cup of H2O2 food safe hydrogen peroxide once every two weeks to keep it sparkling clean and safe for my hummingbirds. Remember, less is more so you will learn how much you need for your fountain. If it is located in full sun and very hot weather, algae will grow faster. Sorry for such a long review, but not everyone will use this product as I do, and it is also a great cleaner as advertised for normal sanitation purposes! Highly recommend it and the business owners for a quality seller and good ethics. Hope that helps folks decide if this is a good product for you. Con: It must never be used at the same time with bleach as H2O2 and bleach react in a poisonous gas. This includes toilets just so you know, every professional janitorial company will know this fact. Do wear disposable gloves for protection of your hands while using it. Read the directions prior to using it.

UPDATE: Our white plastic bottles deformed and disintegrated after 6 or 7 months, and much of the product leaked out. I contacted PureLife and they immediately sent a full replacement of my original order, even though I had already used most of a bottle, and I was able to salvage some of the product in the failed bottles, along with a supportive note. That's what I call great customer service! As for the bottles, they now are packaging in the sturdier clear brown bottles, so maybe that has taken care of the problem. Highly recommend! ======================= We bought Hydrogen Peroxide for our market garden needs. It is an eco-friendly disinfectant for our tools and trays -- it kills microorganisms and the only waste product is water. It gives a good start to our microgreen seeds: some seeds like peas and sunflowers are susceptible to molds. Soaking before planting has taken care of that issue. It supports young seedlings in both our microgreen trays and in our garden -- it combats insects in the grow beds, without injuring the plants. You just dilute it further and use it for watering. We were able to get this during the Covid shoratages and it refilled our 3% peroxide in our medicine cabinet, and we used it to disinfect around our house when we couldn't get bleach nor hand sanitizer. So why THIS hydrogen peroxide? We wanted food grade for the farmers' market use -- not all hydrogen peroxide is food grade. 12% solution means a smaller package and lower shipping costs -- you just dilute it for your needs. Multiple small containers means longer life -- we can keep the other bottles sealed until the first bottle is gone. We are very satisfied with this product!

This has great cleaning power when it comes to cleaning surfaces. I also add it to my ice bath to keep the water clean for a longer period of time. Overall it does a good job but is a bit expensive per oz.
