I love this marzipan. The packaging could be better, but I eat it so fast the product can't get dried out. Flavor and texture of the product is good.

This was a Christmas present for my mom. Tasted fresh and is/was very good.

Chocolate and almonds are good together, so chocolate and marzipan should be good together as well, right? Alas, the whole was less than the sum of the parts. The chocolate shell is a strong bittersweet chocolate, which overwhelms the marzipan completely. The marzipan itself was probably unsweetened, dry, and almost tasteless (compared to Bergen). The end result being you get a brief taste of chocolate and then a whole lot of nothing. So while I didn't dislike it, I didn't like it either.

My German mother was over the moon about this cake! thank you. We all have spent years in Germany and I live there, and I gots to tell you... I was thrilled!

The product arrived with heat shock and was not suitable
Did not use product due to discoloration of the chocolate it was not fresh. It was not suitable to give as a gift. Was very disappointed as it was Very Expensive.
