My wife and I are in the midst of a move between two states. We sold our home and moved most of our belongings into storage. I did not plan enough ahead that we might need immediate access to our computers during the move. Fortunately, I was able to locate one of my monitors that I had been using with my laptop but I could not find the AV cable so I ordered this one. It has been the perfect DVI to HDMI cable. I had previously been using a different AV cable so I was not certain this would work, but it has been giving me a noticeably improved video experience. I highly recommend this AV cable.

I have an older monitor (Dell U2412M) as my secondary display, and I had it connected with a DP to DP cable. I worked fine most of the time, but when the PC would wake up or boot up, the handshake between the GeForce 4070 Super and this monitor would often fail and it would go into VGA mode, LOL. I could reset it by unplugging and re-plugging the DP cable, but that was a pain. The monitor doesn't have HDMI (?!?), so I bought this cable and plug the HDMI end into my graphics card and the DVI end into my monitor, which has completely (as least for the past several weeks) solved the handshake issue.

I needed an extra monitor for my laptop computer for home use, and I dug one up out of the garage that was more than 10 years old, but still works great. Problem was I didn’t have the right cable for it as the monitor did not have an HDMI input and my computer only accepts an HDMI input. I was able to find this HDMI to DVI cable and it fits the monitor and it works perfectly, and it solved the issue for me, so I did not have to spend the money for a new monitor for my computer. Very happy with this cable which continues to function flawlessly so far.

I need this for my computer as my old ass monitor doesn't have HDMI. So yeah works great, don't notice any latency or lag, no visual distortion or anything either. Nice thick cable so it isn't getting coiled up and tangled.
