This is the first time I have used any CF filament and I have to say I am very impressed. It is really easy to print with (I do increase the temp by 5oC), it comes out looking great and much stronger than standarg PLA.I did buy a hardened nozzle as CF is notorious as distroying brass nozzles.Its on my list to buy again when I run out.

I have had a right old time with this filament!I ordered this as I love rainbow things. So clearly, I want rainbow filament.I was originally using a black filament that wasn't by Sunlu. However, I was having a loooot of problems with stringing with the black one with my ender 3 pro. No matter which settings I used, I couldn't stop the stringing. I even imported a Cura profile that was supposed to eliminate it. No success. In fact, the stringing looked like part of the build, it was that solid and that bad.So, I changed to my rainbow Sunlu filament to see whether it was either an ender 3 pro problem or a filament problem. My stringing test prints went amazingly well (pictured). The first print was done at temp 205, the second at 200 and I went down to 195. No stringing at all. And of course, I was so happy. Well, then it was time to do a proper test - print something that wasn't so dinky. And I had a nightmare. It wouldn't stick to the bed, I was getting bubbles where it wasn't adhering, it was pulling away at itself. I lifted and lowered the bed, I changed settings, I cleaned the bed with iso alcohol etc. For over 6 hours I tried, but I couldn't get it to adhere. So I was about to give up and give it a bad review. But then I decided to get a new print bed.It arrived today and I fiddled with the bed, getting it to the right height, sorted the settings out etc. Then I just went for it and started a full print at temp 200 with the bed temp at 60. It wouldn't adhere properly. But I adjusted it to temp 205 with bed temp at 65 and it adhered well and the initial layer is perfect. The print is very good, too. Hardly any stringing.So overall, it's a good filament. A lot, LOT better than the black one I initially bought from a different company. I'll be back for more, and probably buy more in a few different colours!I'm using the 3D printer to create bits to mould, as I own a wax melt business and would like my own, personalised moulds without paying the earth just for one. My husband is using it for models to paint. This filament works perfect for both.

Lets address the elephant in the room: this wood filament will clog your 0.4mm nozzle (default nozzle for most fdm printers) over and over again without fail after just a few layers no matter the temp or print speed. However that is quite normal for wood filament. I swapped to a 0.6mm nozzle and it printed smoothly with only a few blemishes and no clogs after printing over an entire spool.With small prints or mechanical parts this filament can be quite brittle, I wouldn't recommend printing anything small with this filament as it breaks very easily, even from just removing supports. Stick to a few walls with 40% infill and your prints should be very tough.Off the print bed this filament is quite nice as shown in the owl picture. However if you sand it down with 120 grit paper, it looks really convincing. Once sanded you can apply a few coats of woodstain to give it an extremely realistic wood feel as shown in my finished wizard staff print (printed in 8 pieces fitted together). Applying woodstain to a non sanded print will look kinda naff though im afraid.With a bit of post processing this filament can look amazing. I highly recommend this for any kind of wood prop if you are willing to put in the work to clean it up.All printed on an Ender 3, I found 190C and 55C bed with a 0.6mm nozzle worked best.Bonus points because it smells amazing while printing.

Everything seemed good about this product apart from the adhesion, which caused me a lot of grief. One of the attached photos shows stringing, warping, the final piece ended up next to the printer with a lot of spaghetti around. That was the best print I had to date, having tried so many variables.Took a while of playing till I finally figured out some settings/changes that were required to get this to stick down properly for the 3D printer (see other photo). After that, the filament is great to use. I cannot report on water adsorption on standing. I pack the filament away each day after use and I've only had it about a week. With a 0.6 mm nozzle, I haven't experienced any clogging. I tried a stainless steel nozzle, but this made things worse - probably need to further adjust parameters.On the whole a good product, once you nail down the settings for your printer!

Never before have I had a filament that clogs my printer so bad, it clogged about 5 times every time I tried to print with it. Tried drying it and no difference.Would not recommend

Filamento arrivato in tempi rapidissimi come sempre.Ottimo pla con effetto marmo. Piccola difficoltà iniziale in quanto non aderiva bene al piatto. Risolto questo problema stampato con ottimi risultati.Sono davvero soddisfatto!

J'ai été bluffé par le résultat. Une fois légèrement poncé, le filament donne une véritable impression de bois. On s'y tromperait.

Buen filamento,los colores están muy bonitos y queda muy bien .

Mucho mejor que el PLA normal. Una cabado suave, sin estrías, impresionante.Además, se vé mucho más resistente.
