I ordered these socks to keep my feet warm and help with my neuropathy. These socks did both. Quality product at a very good price.

There are tons of great wool socks out there but these are really great because they are thin, warm and durable. Bulky wool socks can feel tight in boots. These leave room to move, provide that great wooly warmth and prevent blisters. They are great for skiing. These are my husbands favorite socks!

Great wool socks that keep feet dry and odor free.

These are excellent, high quality wool socks that work well for daily wear. However, they do slide down your calves and need to be pulled up eventually, but this happens with many socks. These are still a solid value.

I have tried many brands of wool socks. These are thinner (which I like) and wear like iron. Other brands, all of them more expensive wear out more quickly in the heel area. Not these socks. I think that is owing to the wool/nylon blend. All the benefits of wool: warm ad wick away moisture so your feet never feel wet. If they keep making them, I'll keep buying them, although, like I said, they refuse to wear out. I wear them every single day to the office, church, long walks, winter, summer, etc.

I read in an earlier review that this is not the Gold Toe Windsor sock that we once knew. I ignored it, and ordered them anyway, because I needed blue dress socks. I should have listened. The old WIndsor wool sock of years ago was a very fine dress sock. I bought them by the box and they lasted for years. This is no Windsor wool dress sock. It is cheaply made. The fabric is sandpaper-rough. The fit is somewhat large. As a final insult, you have to buy 3 of these awful socks at a time. Remember back when you could buy just one pair of socks? Or yet, when they came in actual sizes, like shoes, instead of OSFA? Oh well. This sock is junk. Save your money. I've had 1 of my 3 pairs on for about an hour. These socks are uncomfortable, with a rough feel, too big and worst of all refuse to stay up. Can't wait to get home and throw them away and put the others in the Goodwill pile. Shame on you, Gold Toe.
