This item works well, has better suction than either of our two other handhelds. Nozzle is good shape to get around and under edges of boxes, objects, or similar. Also the nozzle shape is good for scraping stuff off the floor, such as glue scraps or similar. Will pick up any light stuff, will pick up sand, but stops loose pickup at about pea-gravel size weight. Will not pickup screws or nuts&bolts, which is a good thing for us, since we often loose them in the shop dirt. Battery life is adequate, and longer than the larger-brother equivalent of this machine. This is our most-versatile easy-to-use handheld vacuum. Filters are effective, so you are not breathing/sucking the dirt that you just vacuumed up. Only beef is that the filters "are effective" and thus need dumping & cleaning quite often. This will suck-up water, but then the inner filter (paper-mesh) becomes blocked, and usually needs to be replaced. Buy extra paper filters for this. Could use a brush nozzle attachement.
