Puppy Bible: The Ultimate Week-by-Week Guide to Raising Your Puppy

I assumed this would be a week-by-week schedule of what to expect from your puppy, what to focus on during training, etc. However, the week-by-week section only accounts for < 30% of the total number of pages. Every week only consists of 2 pages, which, combined with the large photos, don't leave room to go into depth for any topic.The rest of the book provides information on various topics, but none that I haven't read in other puppy books. Wouldn't recommend this one.

Exceptional book for the new puppy owner. It has a week by week format, and then additional information in other chapters. We have a german shepherd pup, and though the book was general for puppies, it has been spot on for my pup. :) It's easy to read with nice pictures. After checking it out at the library, I knew this was one my daughter would want to read over and over again and use as a reference. This is a VERY GOOD book for general puppy information. I highly recommend it.

Love this book. It has helped us immensely with different stages of growth with our puppy. We like the way it is written letting you know what to expect week to week.

A great book for a new puppy and has specific training materials

Purchased based off our flight attendant’s recommendation. We love how it broke down puppy life week by week, and it answered many of our questions & concerns

This is great for new puppy owners. I felt like it did help me prepare for things and keep track of where my puppy was at each week. I feel like mine was maybe a week ahead each time, but it still was helpful and pretty accurate.

Great book

I was essentially looking for the puppy version of What To Expect When You’re Expecting, and that’s exactly what this is. It gives you a week by week account of what to expect, plus a slew of guides for training, grooming, feeding etc. It’s phenomenal.

This has good charts to help you understand what your puppy will probably be like and need as she grows up. The training chapters are quite good, although not as comprehensive as I would like. Very easy to read and digest, clearly laid out in a modern way. Combined with one other book I have bought, I feel well prepared for our new puppy.

Very basic book, good for first time pet owners, but I expected more out of it. It's nothing you can't find online.

Absolutely brilliant book, great guide that takes you through week by week of a puppies growth and capabilities. Information about health, basic training, different breeds. I really like it.

Daisy is an 8 week old miniature schnauzer/cavashon X joining the family at the end of the month. This brief guide is good introduction if you haven't raised a puppy in a while.
