It's very good book for beginners in Sap Hcm field. Not much technicality but lot of insight how this all works.

Discover SAP ERP HCM is an excellent pocket reference, very informative and easy to read with good examples. If you want to go in SAP ERP HCM field, I personally recommend you to read this one first, it will give you the clear sight of what you are embarking on. It is an excellent book!

It is a helpful summary. It gives a good overview. Not recommended if you are looking for details on each module.

Hi All, I'm afraid I didn't like this book. I myself have written three books on different areas within SAP, and comparatively found this book very unhelpful. I have been an abap developer on FI, PP, MM, SD, PS , CO since 2002. I started to work on huge projects within SAP HR Abap, and whilst I am good at Abap, I need to know SAP HCM processes and screens, otherwise it is difficult to point out the requirements. Hence, I bought this book to learn basic SAP HR screens and their logic, but unfortunately this book is like a novel. There are no T codes, there are limited screenshots, and SAP screens are not accompanied with an explanation. It is trying to explain something via text. If you want to memorize what is pay scale what is appraisal what is benefit etc, this book is good for you. Thanks

I really like this book on SAP ERP HCM. The language is easy to understand and follow. It's explain in great detail and if you're looking to understand SAP HCM, this book is a great start. I recommend it.

If you are a decision maker, this book is a must read. Anybody else, user, administrator, consultant, who needs to get a good overview of SAP HCM doesn't need to look any further. It would be particularly good for ABAP developers and all other technical people to get this book to have an overview of the application they often lack.
