Georgia BootMen's Georgia Athens Wellington Work Boot-m MNS 10" Gwp Wrk Br

I bought these boots because I really liked the look. After trying them on they were extremely comfortable and stylish and I got a lot of compliments. I really didn't wear them much after I first purchased them but once I started wearing them, they were my go to shoes everyday. Just recently only a few months after really wearing them, i noticed that the left boot was getting hung up on my heel when I was trying to slide my foot in. I investigated and noticed the inside material is ripping and getting worse every time I put my foot in. I contacted Georgia Boot directly to tell them and they told me they have a one year warranty and to return them to the seller. Well Amazon has a 30 day warranty on returns and returns are not an option. Plus I am just outside of a year, even though you can see there is no wear at all on the soles of the boots yet. Georgia Boot obviously does not want to stand by their products. I wear slide on boots as a Firefighter everyday at work and they last for years! These didn't last 3 months in service. Poor quality and poor customer service. Could of had a customer for life, instead I'm leaving a negative review and will look elsewhere in the future for quality boots and a quality company. Look of the boots=2 thumbs up , Quality=2 thumbs down, Customer Service= Big two thumbs down

I have only had these boots for about a week. They are the most comfortable boots right out of the box I have ever put on. I took the other reviews into account and ordered a half size bigger and they fit perfectly. I'm a forester and my boots see a lot of miles. I havent been in a situation yet to test how waterproof they are. I will update my review in the future based on how well they hold up and their ability to keep my feet dry. I'm almost to the point where I want to buy another pair to wear while not at work. They are that comfortable!UPDATE: 2 months and they are still waterproofed in ankle deep water/morning heavy dew and are even more comfortable.

I really liked these boots. I have had them for about 5 months. However i want to note a few design flaws that are apparent in this boot.1. There is some form of plastic structural piece on the sole of the shoe, an internal piece that is not glued properly. every time i take a step it "clicks" as if it is compressing from the step and then reflexing back...2. The side of the shoe where the leather meets the sole looked to be sealed with some type of glue or black melted adhesive... well the glue was not properly sealed around the whole shoe (arrived like this) and it started coming apart from the first week.3. Third, and most annoyingly... there is a foam type mesh in the upper part of the boot where your heel slides by. at the base of the heel is another plastic support ridge (or some material)... the tightness of putting the boot on rips this material causing it to bunch up at the bottom of your heel VERY annoying and frustrating. Simple design flaw.My foot is narrow and i only weight 160lbs. The shoe fits GREAT once you get it on and it is a tight to get it on which wouldn't be a problem but hte ripping fabric that bunches up against your heel is so so annoying...

Great looking boot that is very comfortable! I would absolutely say they are my favorite work boots I’ve had. Only problem with them in my experience is they ARE NOT WATERPROOF. That’s a major let-down too. My feet get wet just walking in grass in the morning while the dew is still out and it’s been that way since I got them. I had to let them dry out a few days because of that and so I was wearing my backup boots (another brand) and I missed my Georgia Boots every step! Very good boots but the waterproof thing is a big issue for me. I mean when they have a tag sewn in to the boot that says WATERPROOF my feet ought not get wet. So that sucks.

I bought these boots for my grown son for Christmas to wear to work. He was delighted by them and they were his most favorite boots EVER! He got many compliments on how cool/stylish they looked, plus they were extra comfortable! However, one day he came home to see me after work and wasn’t wearing them. He said they were having to dry out, because they had started leaking around the edges where the leather was connected to the soles. This was just within 6-8 weeks of wearing them, so of course, I can’t return them to Amazon! Georgia Boots, if you see this, please replace them! They are useless if he can’t get them wet! He isn’t wading either, just walking through spraying water occasionally during his workday. Makes me sad, because we have all always sworn by Georgia workboots—I hope this pair is just a “lemon.”

This is one of the most comfortable boots I have owned but they definitely have some issues.1: waterproof is a load of bull crap2: the cloth type material inside the boot is loose and serves no purpose besides making it almost impossible to get the boot on and off when your feet get damp/wet because the water proofing doesn’t last a month in full working conditions3:waayyyy to many seams and stitching.... the leather quality is great but they just do not last as long as they could because all the seams.I like these boots very much and will buy the kind with a zipper on the back now to try them and that should solve the getting on and off problem but if they do not stay waterproof for a longer amount of time like the “guaranteed” “water proof system” says then I will be asking for a refund and go to another brand.

I love these boots. They really do look like moccasins. I have 5 pairs of work boots and these are the lightest of all and most comfortable. I read numerous reviews that said the stitching comes undone, so will have to see how well they endure. They are by far the nicest looking pair of work boots I have ever worn as well. So for now they get 5 stars!! I will update my review in the future and tell how the stitching does.
