The lamp was easy to assemble. It fits in the corner of my home office with the lower light over my desk. The lamp shades are thin plastic but are flexible enough that they won't break if the lamp fell over. They diffuse the light from each bulb well. In the top I put a AmeriLuck 3-Way LED Light Bulb A21, 50-100-150W Equivalent 5000K bulb which lights the room nicely. The lower light provides a focused task light that is easy to position. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for a simple, inexpensive, and functional lamp.

The lamp is as advertised. The box is small, and the foam is a bit messy, but the lamp is good. Used my own bulbs, it did not come with any. Assembly was okay. The screw in for the poles is a bit of hit and miss. Reason only 4 stars. Otherwise it is basic. Base, poles, arm, and the lamp covers. The arm for the reading lamp does move as advertised. The lamp covers allow for good illumination and direction. The price is great at around 30. Hard to find a lamp at that price that can do 2 jobs. The material is limited. The poles are very thin, and you do not want to knock it. Otherwise it works as expected.

I liked the easy assemble and the brightness it gives.

I bought this one after buying and returning a similar pole lamp that was defective. Assembly took only 10 minutes. The lamp gives plenty of light and the lower moveable arm is a nice reading light. A very well made lamp for the price.

Just what I was looking for -- easy to assemble, provides light for room and the downward-aimed reading lamp for reading in bed.

Price fit my budget as it is only for a dorm room. But as you can see from the photo, the lamp leans to one side. You get what you pay for I guess :-). Otherwise, it’s a really great lamp.

Works well. The first time I plugged it in, it made a loud noise like a firecracker, so I was concerned that it blew the fuse inside the surge protector, but no, it was fine. I turned on the light switches, and it appears to be working well. Surge protection is fine as well. It was a strange occurrence, but all is well.

The screws were very tight, got crooked easily. I couldn’t get the screw all the way into the stand. The stand is smaller than the touchier shade and the reading arm makes the whole thing tilt and wobble. The lights are very bright. If I were going to keep this, I would put dimmer bulbs in, but I don’t like hot light. I can’t return this because I scratched the pole trying to screw it together. As an aside, there were stains, looked like scrapes against something yellow, on the edge of the stand. Not a good lamp all together . Would not recommend.
