Upgrade over the Rockford's for sure.
Put these in a 18 Street Glide, a huge improvement over the Rockford's they replaced. Passenger says they can finally hear the music. Clarity is great too, I have a single amp bridged pushing them, never turned it up past 70%. I have a set of MMatts in the front and this combination is great for me. Also bought the 6.5's but haven't installed them yet. The paperwork states they were made for motorcycles, if I get caught in the rain and they don't hold water I will update my review.

This is a great product the sound is amazing and I used them for my Harley Davidson
