Great package for the price.
This voice amplifier and digital recorder is supplied with pretty much everything that you need to get started, apart from a microSD/TF memory card or a USB memory stick. I found that this device worked well and had an acceptable quality, especially considering its price point. The device can stand on a desk, be worn on a belt using the integrated (and removable) belt clip. Finally, the unit can be worn over an arm or over the shoulder by using the included strap, that is adjustable and clips on to the rear of the unit by lanyard hooks.Additionally, a 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm cable (TRS) is included as well as a USB to micro-USB cable for charging. Finally, a microphone headset is supplied for use as the unit's primary purpose, as a voice amplifier. The headset is lightweight, flexible and has an adjustable microphone boom. The quality of this microphone is fine for voice. That attached cable is thin and braided so remains untangled during use.Recording voice with the supplied mike produced an acceptable recording (which was also acceptable when played back using better equipment), but there was some background noise. Note that the microphone supplied is not noise cancelling. Unfortunately, I was not able to use the amplifier function while recording - this would have been useful. For voice amplification, the device performed well. So long as the mic and unit remain far enough apart, particularly with the speaker pointing away from you, you will not experience feedback or howling, even when using at higher volumes. The inbuilt FM receiver is very good. Reception was clear and sound produced was very good. The FM antenna extends to almost 40 cm in length, but I found that I still had great reception with the antennae fully retracted. The sound is clear enough for travelling - indeed this makes for a good pick up and go FM radio with the volume loud enough for the device to be used both indoors in both a small and larger space, or outdoors. The balance between treble and bass was excellent. Bear in mind, this isn't an expensive device, but the sound is acceptable.I also found that the device worked perfectly using the AUX input. The unit is charged by a USB-micro cable. The battery life is excellent, even when using it to play music. Additionally, the USB port can also be used for charging or powering other devices. As the unit has only a 1500 mAh battery, this is really only intended for low-power devices rather than a phone. However, it's a useful addition as it can be used while the unit itself is powered by USB.Recordings can be made to either a Micro-SD/TF Card or USB stick. I found that the USB stick must be formatted as MS-DOS as opposed to ExFAT. I have not attempted to use this device with a NTFS formatted drive. For the price point, I think the only way this device could be improved is through the addition of a headphone port. This would have really completed this package.

Great for the price.
This is a bit of an all-in-one device. You can think of it as a small portable radio that also allows a TF card or USB device to be inserted to play MP3's. In addition to that, there are two inputs (microphone and AUX) which will be played through the speaker.Obviously it's no a really loud or good quality speaker, but it's certainly 'good enough' for a small P.A., similar to the volume of someone talking very loud. There's a reverb dial so you can sound quite spooky with various amounts of echo. The F.M. radio and mic/aux inputs can be recorded if you've inserted a TF card (takes a while to recognise it, so be patient). The supplied microphone is actually quite good, lightweight and responsive. You get a shoulder strap or you can use the hook at the back to carry it.There's a long aerial for F.M. reception which gives pretty good reception.Battery life depends on how loud you play it, but I've had over 9 hours with moderately quiet music, so the claimed 10 hours seems reasonable. It takes a similar time to fully charge.I've used mine as a small electric guitar amp, and it's fine for that, also allowing me to record what I'm playing. For around £22 it's great value.

Multiple ways to use it
This voice amplifier is nice and small, with a clip at the back that will allow you to clip it to your belt or your trousers. It is made of good quality sturdy materials and can be used in multiple ways, such as for conferences, teaching at school, project meetings, and because you can plug in a TF card or USB device, you can use it to listen to mp3’s or to record sounds as well. The sound quality is decent and is sufficient for what I need it for, so overall I am happy with this choice.
