Seems sturdy. Nice amount of space. Buttons started falling off after 6 mos. Ok purchase for the price.

I needed something to prop my feet up for my couch in the movie room. There were so many other expensive options, decided to go with this item. The ottoman is well made, and very sturdy. It's also pretty soft and comfortable. The legs screw into the base, and it looks really nice. The lid has a part that recesses into the base, so it won't slide off the top if you were to adjust your feet (if that makes sense). It does have a VERY weird smell, but it has started to clear up after a couple days.

Pretty but does not hold up...the tufted buttons are already loosening and not staying "tufted". Too bad. Would have returned but it's too late. Amended: after contacting vendor, I heard back almost immediately. They very kindly offered to refund 15% . Very satisfied with customer care.

This is the perfect size and color. It does have a strong smell like others have said, but I don't plan on storing anything in it and I sprayed the inside with Lysol. Not sure that will help yet. It is very sturdy and a great price.

The ottoman is beautiful and the feet have felt pads built in which is great for protecting my easily scratched hardwood floors. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because of the horrible, headache inducing, chemical smell inside. I live in a small apartment but thankfully I have a patio, so I was able to air it out for a couple days. But two weeks later, the smell still lingers and is making my entire apartment smell. I tried putting a candle next to it, spraying it with perfume, spraying it with febreeze fabric spray, vacuuming the inside, basically everything I could think of off the top of my head. I wanted to put sweaters inside but I’m afraid that doing so may leave my sweaters with this horrible smell. I googled it and found that wiping it down with diluted baking soda might help (it didn’t) or sprinkling the fabric with baking soda, leaving it for a day, then vacuuming it up (it didn’t, and a lot of baking soda got stuck in the fabric). I’ve wiped it down with diluted white vinegar and that also didn’t get rid of the smell. I can’t deny how beautiful it is, but is it worth it?

This item is just wonderful!I have it at the foot of my bed as a halfway "step" so my little dog can easily get on the bed. Works great and looks beautiful.The storage is also helpful as my room is quite small.

This is a great footstool. Its sturdy. Its soft and fuzzy. Its not too heavy so I can move it easily when I want to. It looks good with my decor, and the gray color was pretty true to how it looked online. Like other reviewers, there is a bit of a chemical smell inside the storage area, but I've just stuffed it with dryer sheets for a few days and it should be fine.
