Alpha's Danger: An MC Werewolf Romance (Bad Boy Alphas Book 2)

'Alpha's Danger' is the second book in Renee Rose & Lee Savino's Bad Boy Alphas" series. Even though they've mentioned characters from the first book this can be read as a standalone. Garrett is an Alpha wolf who is determined to prove to his father that he can hold and lead his pack. Right now, he's done very well financially in the real estate market and he has a small pack with members that followed him to establish a separate pack from his father but his father is determined that Garrett mate a female-shifter, settle down, and have cubs. Amber has gone through the foster care system with what she feels is a disability or curse. She has visions she can't control. These two meet in the elevator of the condo where they both live. There's a chemistry there but it's a reluctance to it from both of them. Garrett is somewhat of a playboy and Amber is an introvert from experience. There's a push/pull between them that neither one can resist. This storyline has all the dangers to build up suspense, a kidnapping, a psychic, wolf shifters, perfectly damaged characters, and a burning chemistry that will not be satisfied. When these two authors team up it's almost a guarantee the reader will be the winner and this story just solidifies that.

Good read and unique storyline...I really enjoyed the characters, how they met, and kept running into each other. There is chemistry and steam between them. Once he "kidnaps" her, it kinda went off the rails a little bit. It was rushed and something fell a bit short. This is where I usually skip around in this series as I wasn't super interested in the sister's story. This time going to try to read the series in order. I still love the series and this author combo. Some are just better than others, but still good reads!

While this is the second book in the Bad Boy Alpha series, it will definitely read well as a stand-alone. It does have mention of a few characters that are in book one, Alpha’s Temptation, but those characters are defined enough in this story not to be confusing. You know you are in for an amazing story with two extremely talented authors collaborating to create this shifter series. The story has mystery, suspense, danger, kidnapping, a rescue operation, secrets, a psychic, and a strong wolf pack with plenty of action, angst, and adventure.Garrett Green is am an alpha wolf who is determined to prove himself. His father wants him to take over the wolf pack and be mated with an alpha she-wolf. For now, he has made a name for himself with his real estate investments and not ready to settle down.Amber Drake has struggled all her life. Losing her parents when she was young, placed in the foster system, and bounced around from home to home has left her disillusioned to people. Having visions comes as a burden, especially when she was a child and treated like she was crazy. Hiding her psychic abilities comes at a price, one where she has only one friend and must avoid crowds and most people. She went to college to become an attorney and is an advocate for children in foster care, knowing what their life is like and hoping to make a difference for each child in the system.The plot will have Amber and Garrett meet in the elevator of her apartment building. What a shock to learn they are neighbors. She sees him and his friends as bad news and questions their motives. What a shock to learn he owns the club, Eclipse, and even the building she lives in. “This is what happens when you hang out with a bad boy.” “I trust you to be good. He puts a finger under my chin and lifts my face to his. His handsome face fills my vision. Until I make you bad.”When Sedona, Garrett’s sister, comes up missing while on spring break in Mexico, Garrett insists that she goes with them to find her. He needs her visions to locate Sedona before it is too late. The story will take on intense life and death situations as they search for Sedona. There is a strong sexual chemistry between Amber and Garrett, one that his wolf cries out to mate. But Amber is human, and Garrett needs an Alpha she-wolf for the pack. “This guy is every bad decision I never made, rolled into one. And if I don’t snap out of lust soon, I’m going to make what might be the biggest mistake of my life.”For the first time in Amber’s life, she feels like she isn’t looked at as a freak for her visions. Garrett and his pack mates encourage her to use her gift and help them locate Sedona. She will defy Garrett’s order for her to stay at the motel when she senses he is in danger. With the full moon, the wolf is crying for him to claim his mate, and Amber wants him too. “You’re finally claimed by the big bad wolf.”What will their mating mean for Garrett with the wolf pack? That alone is enough to make you need to read and swoon.

There's Amber, the competent, put-together, albeit somewhat socially awkward, professional who is a kick-ass lawyer. Then there's "Crazy Amber," who has abilities she'd rather not have. And Crazy Amber makes her appearance far too often for Amber's comfort. One night, while returning to her new apartment, Amber runs into three very shady-looking bikers in the elevator. Or at least she thinks they're bikers. What else would three heavily tattooed and pierced men with long hair or shaved heads, ear gauges, wearing tight T-shirts, faded jeans, and biker boots be? They certainly look the part. But appearances are often deceiving. Turns out Garrett is the Alpha of his pack of wolf shifters. Trey and Jared are his packmates. And they're Amber's next door neighbors! Of course, Amber knows nothing of shifters, wolf or otherwise, but Crazy Amber's abilities tell her something's different about these men. And the attraction to Garret? Hmm...would "through the roof" be too much? As much as Amber's attracted to Garrett, and he feels the same in return, both have good reason to stay as far as they can from each other. The problem is, circumstances keep throwing them together in the most unlikely of ways. When Amber learns too much, she become a danger to the pack. What will Garrett do? Renee Rose has done a again! Book #2 has all the earmarks I like in a book! Laughter. Tears. Happiness. Anger.

I loved this book, it was well written, gripping and drew me in from page 1. Garrett and Amber have sparks flying all over the place. There's kidnapping, fights and sexy love scenes with an HEA. I highly recommend this book.

This story is the perfect mix of drama, heartbreak, crime, and full-blown love.It’s well-written and entertaining, the storyline is well-paced and the charactersare well-developed. Renee & Lee really know how to write great stories !!! I'lldefinitely read the whole series.It drew me in at the first pages and kept me entertained all the way through.An emotionally charged story with crime in it, that kept me flipping the pagesuntil the last word. The incredible, hot sizzling chemistry between Amber andGarrett, makes it a beautiful love story.So, go ahead, grab this book and let the story give you a relaxed reading time.
