Q: Does the box it comes have a guy surfing on it? I just want to make this is the right camera because it has a low price.

To answer your question, yes it does, but it doesn't look like the box in the picture and it doesn't have a attachment for your helmet. It had a bar mount. The description on the purchase is wrong.

Yes, but make sure you start to record THEN plug it in or you'll record nothing. Made this mistake quite a few times before figured out what was wrong.

I got WI Fi to work. Here is how: 1) Install ion camera software app on your mobile, using Play Store (Android), but do NOT yet open the app; 2) screw in the back of the unit that contains the wifi piece (unit comes with 2 backs, one with and one without wifi); 3) Turn on the unit; 3) hold the wifi button down on the unit until blue wifi light on camera lights up; 4) go to your Android Network settings; WAIT until a wifi podz network appears; when it finally appears, connect to it with PW 123456789; 5) Once connected to the wifi podz network, THEN open the ion app. Make sure app was not running in background before this point. 6) Within the app, go to the Viewertab, and click the center button to turn on the preview.
