Gold Tone Bob Carlin BC-350 Banjo (Five String, Clear Maple)

Wow. What a great banjo. I started playing on a Deering Goodtime 2, and while I have nothing bad to say about that banjo, this Gold Tone BC-350 is just a step above (at least for clawhammer playing, I have not tried it with the resonator and I do not play bluegrass style). The tone is bright and plucky, and loud, it cuts through a mix when playing with others and really brings out the wonderful sound of clawhammer playing. It's also beautiful to look at. A great buy and well worth the money.
