Complete waste of money. Comes with no instructions, either falls apart when you attempt to use it or it flies apart when you make contact.Did I say absolutely no instructions on how to use and when you are able to get to make contact without it flinging it’s tip off the speed is all over the place I had no idea how fast my small engine was spinning said like 34,000 rpm..... seriously? A small engine that can spin that fast? Not likely.

It works, but the input shaft bearing is a sloppy fit and there's a lot of wobble and vibration when you try to measure something that's turning over a couple hundred RPM. I suppose for the price, it's OK.

This product is easy to use, the accuracy is questionable its around 5 to 10% lower in speed on my lathe shaft in comparison to my hall effect rev counter. There may be a combination in errors there however I'd vouch more for better accuracy on the hall effect counter. The ID rubber mounts are slightly too loose for my liking and have the ability to slip and spring out when pressed against a shaft, annoying when dropped and run under a workbench. On the whole though good for the money and fine if you aren't looking for great accuracy. Would pay more and get a decent device if accuracy is important. I'll get the store out and perhaps add to this later to give a full account of the inaccuracies.
