Pink Oyster

Second time purchasing, first time had some issues with temperature, threw the bags away and still got Pink oysters growing in the garden, I live on a Caribbean island average temp avg 88 degrees, I have since then upgraded my game, better temperature control and these babies thrive !!

Recieved it quickly, but I left it sitting on the counter and didnt get around to using it until a week later, once injeccted into six spawn jars, it started slow for a week and then grew like crazy rapidly filling up the jar. I used a substrate mix of 5 cups maple wood pellets to 1 cup rolled oats placed in a grow bag and sterilized in an inastant pot, within 2 week the grain spawn fully colonized the bag with pink spots all over and has been cut open to begin fruiting. First flush yielded 2 clusters of mushrooms weighing in at 12.1 oz total. I used the remaining 1.5cc that was left sitting on the counter for about a month to start a new culture in a mixture of 5% honey and water and it fully took over as a new jar of liquid culture good for dozens more spawn jars and the new liquid culture seems to be taking on pretty well in the new spawn jars.

The mycelium grew very quickly on sterile agar dishes with no contamination. Would purchase from here again if I ever need more

I have more than one syringe from this company; all are either not inoculating or are infested with contaminants. Everything I'm using is sterile, and I make sure everything is cleaned and sterilized throughout the process. All are either not inoculating or are compromised. The one syringe I got from another company is booming with all of my supplies and care. Co something is definitely going on.

I grew the liquid culture out on agar and it didn't seem to have any significant contamination. Overall yield seems to be pretty good and the mushrooms that grew are indeed pink oysters. If you are able to, I would recommend making your own sterile culture medium and using some of the syringe to make more culture for future use. When I want to try different strains I will certainly be purchasing syringes from this company again.

This spore was strong and fast to grow. I do recommend going to the mushroom labs site to get your spore instead of buying from them on Amazon. They have loads of cultures and you won't be disappointed!

Mycelium colonized quickly, fruited quickly and the mushrooms are delicious. I am very happy with my purchase. Great work on this liquid culture guys!

Fast. It did not take as long as most in each stage. There is no contamination. That's what counts right?
