Tarot: Divination and Card Reading For Beginner's (2nd Edition)

Like the title suggests, this really is a 101 course for any tarot Beginner. I liked that the author was very pragmatic and left the reader to interpret what tarot means to them. I personally think it's more "fun" but recognize there are unexplained patterns in the universe, so who knows?The chapters were laid out well and progressed through everything you'll need to get started doing readings. I liked that several Spreads were suggested and layouts were given to help you practice. Notes were given on each card, and the author explains there's another meaning when the card is reversed. I'm feeling pretty confident about my knowledge of the Major Arcana already, but know I'll need more practice to get the Court cards straight. I am very pleased with this book!

This is really a great resource, and as the author states, she's not going to make learning any more complicated than it has to be. She tries to make it as easy as she possibly can, while covering all the bases. I've read many Tarot books, but really, this is one of the best! Aside from the fact that sometimes you like to hold a book in your hot little hands ... this one is much more concise, has less that I have to wade through, and the style is excellent!This one is tops in my book!

This book is okay. It will tell you what you need to know. This book is the book for basics.

Good book for beginners. The layout is easy to reference on the Kindle for the most part, except the chapter on reverse card meanings which has all the info crammed into one non-indexed chapter. I've found this to be pretty accurate info.

In this book you will learn to read the Tarot in simple and straightforward way. This is amazing book to read Tarot cards. The author has very well explained the tips and tricks to read these cards. I really enjoyed reading this book....

Easy and nice to read

I think beginners can find this book very useful. But one thing that I have learned is that Tarrot is not for me. I don't know how I stumbled across this book and why I downloaded it, may be because it was free, may be with a hope that I would like the game of Tarrot. But I guess I didn't. I went through the book fairly quickly, at times I found myself skimming, and that's not because the book is not great, just that I was not very interested in the subject matter. But again I think a beginner would find this very valuable.

Love this book. If anyone want to read about tarot cards reading this book is for you. Very easy, smart and good approach to the cards. Recommend to anyone. Great book.
