Reef Men's Fanning Speed Logo Flip Flop

Let me say that I'm someone who wears sandals extensively, all year round. Living in Arizona I find it much easier to just throw a pair on instead of going through the hassle of getting socks and shoes on especially for simple tasks around the house.When my old LL Bean sandals finally gave up the goat (120 degree weather and even hotter blacktop surfaces lend to premature wearing and ungluing of components) I had to start digging to find something to replace them.After reading reviews, looking through pictures I decided on these sandals given they looked pretty well put together and had a very highly padded heel which I find to be a requirement when sometimes I wear the sandal for the upwards of 8-10 hours in a day.After ordering these and putting them to the test I was immediately impressed by the build quality and the overall comfort and I can say that after almost a years worth of wear and an Arizona summer later these things are STILL holding up just like new! I couldn't be happier with how these sandals fit and their overall comfort is unmatched even on items I've spend double the money on.Sizing they fit perfectly to the size listed and color is accurately represented in the pictures.Now, with that being said the novelty feature of the bottle opener built into the bottom of the sandal is actually quite entertaining! After a year's worth of practice I've actually perfected a kicking 'open' with it where I can actually open bottles being held by others without removing the sandal, quite a conversation piece when out camping!These sandals are genuinely worth the money and if mine ever start showing wear I'm sure that I'll be right back to order a new set!

The media could not be loaded. I ordered these July 4, 2012 so I've had these bad boys for 8 years! Amazing sandals and they handle the water really well, I remember first putting them on and amazed on how comfortable they were and they still are comfortable to this date. I could walk in these all day with no problems.The fit is interesting because I'm a 10.5 and I ordered the 10, fits just a hair small for my taste but still overall good comfort and fit. I never used the bottle opener so can't speak on that feature. The one gripe I have with these is the tread, it's a sort of hard plastic and after years of wear the plastic is worn down and I have to be careful on smooth surfaces. I feel my step slipping when I walk on concrete, even when walking the textured bumpy rocky kind of concrete. The plastic also appears to be cracking off at certain places (see video + photos)I would order these again if not for the plastic tread, maybe it should be changed to a rubber tread?

I've been wearing Reefs for quite a while and got these to replace some others with many miles on them. I do miss the same versions that had the black leather uppers even though I also experienced the bleeding black color when I walked into the water in Cabo. I just dealt with it because they looked higher quality than the new versions. Come on Reef - get some new leather and remake the older versions. Who wears brown?! HA!This pair did have a piece of material that came untucked from the strap between your toes. This happened after 2 days of having them. It's was a Reef issue not BC S&S but I can tell you that dealing with this problem through BC was a piece of cake. Dan called me right away after I sent them an email and made it right. He gave me like 4 options to handle the problem and after I decided what I wanted he applied it and I couldn't be happier.I've bought Reefs from other places in the past but will never buy a pair unless it comes from BC S&S. I'd have given 4 stars based simply on the Reef product but the extra star is due to the assistance and attention given by Dan and BC S&S.I buy many other shoes besides Reefs and will always go to BC S&S to get them. It was great dealing with you guys! Thanks a ton Dan!
