Great little timer! Nice and simple with fairly large numbers and good readability. I really like the touchscreen feature and the backlight feature. The light goes on when entering times and when the clock starts ticking... The light shuts off after 30 seconds, saving the battery life. The magnets could be a bit stronger / bigger and the stand could be a bit heftier to eliminate some slight wobble, too but for the price... It's a great deal and it seems to work with good accuracy. I can't tell yet how long the batteries will last but that's like asking how long a piece of string is. Pretty decent volume on the alarm, too. I'm considering buying another one for the kitchen and although the magnets don't hold great on my fridge and it moves when I input times, holding it with the other hand while using the touchscreen isn't that big of a deal. I just have to be careful not to knock off when walking past the fridge. Shipping was quicker than expected, so no complaints there!

Used this continuously for my Christmas cooking and baking. My one daughter wanted to take it. It is really a nice timer and actually fun and easy to use because it digital. Glad I bought it. Has a pretty good sound to the ringer. You can hear it if you are in the same room. Depends on how much noise there is going on in other parts of your house to be able to hear it from another room. Glad I bought this.. I really do like it. Thinking about gettting more for gifts.

I was looking for a reliable timer with a count-up function similar to the ones I used back when I worked at an outlet of a fairly sizable coffee company from the Washington area, and this fit the bill admirably. It's slightly overpriced for what it does, but it's very attractive, easy-to-use, and feels solidly made. The magnets on the back do not fully support its weight, so it'll slide precariously if you put it on your fridge or oven hood, and it does not ship with batteries, so make sure you have two double-As handy before purchasing.

I purchased two of these timers to help my kids manage how much "media time" (computers, games, videos, etc.) they use per day. They are working well and are a good value. Pros: * Clear, bright, easy-to-use touchscreen * Large digits with rolling animation on changes * Backlight turns on when setting the time limit * Can count up like a stop watch * Loud alarm beep * Integrated stand for setting on a table * Two magnets for placing the timer on the refrigerator Cons: * The stand is not as "beefy" as I would like. * The magnets work, but could be stronger.

I needed something simple and not distracting to tell me it's time to get up from what I'm doing and move around. My phone was too distracting and everything else had to be reconfigured every time I needed to reset it. This is easy to use, easy to see, and totally functional. And the fact that it's magnetic and can stick to my dry erase board is a huge bonus. Thanks!

Great little countdown/up timer! I liked the first one so well that I bought another one for my wife to use in the kitchen. It uses 2 AAA batteries, has two small but strong magnetic posts on the back for attaching to the refrigerator, has a built-in stand for standing it up on a counter top, back light for display, large digits, easy touch screen operation and a loud ring when time is up.

This timer does not shut off. The product information online says that's by design as power consumption is incidental. I purchased this item in March 2016 and it's now August 2016 and it's dead again. Two sets of batteries replaced in six months is not just incidental power consumption. Steer clear of this product, your pocketbook and your environmental footprint will be happier. Edit: Photo added

Eventually the touch screen stopped working. I would have to press really hard for it to respond and then it stopped responding completely, so I would have to take out the batteries for the alarm to stop

The first of these was so good I have now bought 2 more. The magnets stick well to the side of a fridge, microwave, oven. I leave mine permanently set to 10, 5 and 2 minutes however they are very easy to set and reset. The start/ stop button is clear and touch sensitive - the previous salter timer I had this button started to be temperamental. The beep is loud and clear but not strident. They also take two standard AAA batteries rather than those annoying and fiddly "watch" type batteries. I haven't used it freestanding nor have I used the countdown option.

Very good product, clear digits & audible alarm. Easy to use, nice stand, arrived on schedule, if not before. However I thought this displayed the time, probably my oversight. Only suggestion for improvement, magnets to be stronger, they allow the timer to slide down the fridge slowly. Robert

This is a great little timer. Easy to use, good size therefore timer is easy to see as it is counting down. It sticks to fridge door really securely. At last I can boil my eggs for breakfast without them over cooking. I would have given this 5 stars but for one thing. The alarm when it has counted down could be a little louder.

Sturdy timer, good display & easy to use. Handy magnet & battery lasts ages.

First one had a problem but soon sorted and fast response shipping new one out.I wish I had bought one of these years ago .no more spoil bold eggs now .works perfect.would I buy again two right I would
