I'm pre-diabetic, I use Ge100 monitor and was measuring 140s a couple of weeks ago. I decided to take an Okra supplement I purchased in Hong Kong (small pills 500mg each) a year ago and my blood sugar measured around 120s after about 3 days. My husband did a little research and found this product for me. I switched over and take 3 capsules in the am and 3 before bed time (ttl 6 capsules per day) . levels steadily dropped each day. After another 4 days I measured at 87 today. Will keep up and see if it stay this way. I always measure first thing in the am, before food and drink. I've done the fresh Okra drinks (soak Okra in hot water and steep 8 hours) . It works (results takes longer to see) but too much trouble. This is easier. Many years ago when I had an ulcer my chiropractor suggested okra tablets 15 minutes before I ate. Wow, what a difference. I think the okra slime in the fresh plant must get slimy again in the stomach because it really helped me. I was borderline diabetic and i found this production that had great review. I have been taking it since then and my blood sugar was now normal and i could eat my sin food again :) I would recommend this item but ask your doctor esp if you are taking medication.

My chiropractor suggested to take okra to restore lining of bladder after a bladder infection. I found this one and took one bottle.
