Quality
Great little set of bags. I insulated one side so I can carry a sandwich and drink. I added a couple of grommets to make them easier to tie to my saddle. They work so well my wife asked for a set. The only issue so far is that I had to have a zipper pull replaced. I would recommend a heavier zipper.

Excellent Saddlebag, Insufficient Description
I really like this handy and large saddle bag (I gave it 5 stars), but have three slight issues with the description. First, the item is pictured with two water bottles, which are not included with the bag. This fact should be made crystal clear to the purchaser, as it may affect potential buyers' decisions on selecting this product (had I caught this, I would have searched for BPA-free water bottles on your site before I placed my order.) Second, the outer pockets that hold the water bottles are much larger than the "normal" 16.9 ounce bottles require, and there is no way to secure the bottle inside the insulated pocket. There is a single 3/4" wide fixed canvas strap across the bottom, which is not adjustable. I recommend including the dimensions in the description, too. Third, the saddle bag does not easily attach to English saddles that do not have D rings--I had to get creative when attaching this to my Wintec 250 saddle. Including one more set of detachable straps would have been an added bonus. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Perfect size.
I’ve used these for a couple of years now. They are durable. The perfect size for a day ride. Big enough for lunch, water bottles, and emergency items. I reinforced the bottom of the water bottle holders with an extra strap so the 20oz bottles won’t fall out the bottom.

Fits 33oz CamelBak water bottles!
Mostly nice saddle bags. The water bottle holders are large enough to hold my 33oz CamelBak water bottle. The bags and zippers seem very sturdy. However, one day I was trotting around and noticed my almost full water bottle on the ground. The stitching on the bottom of the cup holder came undone and my water bottle fell out. The other side is still intact. I am disappointed I will have to reinforce the stitching. There are plastic D-rings on the sides for back cinch tie downs. Overall, mostly happy I made this purchase.

Don't buy this.
This may be the most uneccesarily crappy Tough 1 product I have ever purchased. And I bought this KNOWING it wouldn't be good quality. First, it gets here. The straps that attach it to the saddle are 1) falling apart because the ends weren't finished, just a frayed mess and 2) literally would not even hook themselves to the bag. As if the plastic pieces holding the thing together weren't even made for this. I had to tie knots in the ends to even make this product work for its "intended" purpose. (obviously, this was a last minute purchase or I would've returned the piece of crap then and there). Then, I take it on the first ride. The water bottle holders suck, but whatever, right? I knew that from other reviews. The seams were already coming apart but the rest of the bag was such a disappointment it didn't even phase me. I can get over that to keep a phone and a hoof pick with me, right? But no, it couldn't just be a low quality saddle bag. Oh no. Fast forward two more trail rides (each being no more than 3 hours long at the walk), and the pocket I put my cell phone in just bursts open at the zipper. That's right, 9 hours max using it to hold a CELL PHONE, and this bag couldn't handle it. This is my last straw with Tough 1. Some stuff you can get cheap and not mind the lower quality, but their stuff is just out of control garbage. Not being able to casually stroll down a flat lane with a phone and a hoof pick without the bag exploding all over itself is just ridiculous. Save your money on all their products, I've tried a lot of them and it has to be this bad to surprise me into writing a review because that's just their MO.

great saddlebag!!
This is a great saddlebag!! It fits great on the back of my western saddle, and I use twine to tie it on. On the back of the saddlebag there are 2 metal loops that I use to tie it on. I also use the 2 loops farther down on the bag and tie them to where the back cinch on a western saddle would go. I have taken many trail rides with this saddlebag and i love it! So far, it has been very durable and ive had it for about 4 months. If it is secured well to the saddle, u can go any speed with it on and it doesnt bounce around too much. Ive even galloped with it on. I have never had one problem with it. This saddlebag it great for any trail rider.
