Excellent purchase!
One of the best purchases I’ve ever made! This seat is so very neat, occupies minimal space and is quite sturdy.

Beautifully made shower seat!
I just got this for our newly designed tile stall shower. I wanted it for myself for when shaving - thought it would make that easier, as well as for when my parents visit. I loved the way the product comes in a nice protective, fabric sleeve with all the contents and directions for installation inside. The quality of the seat itself is really nice and solid. It looks like something you would see on the shower wall of a very modern hotel. The wall piece is a shiny chrome material and very sleek and modern looking overall. I can't wait to have it installed - and don't attempt to install it yourself as they will tell you in the materials. Hire a professional to do it the right way! I bought this for us, but may get another one for my parents. I think it makes a lot more sense to have one of these in the wall lying flat for whoever needs it, rather than to have one of those bulky seats in the middle of the shower floor that are always in the way for anyone else who needs the shower. This is elegant and looks nice when not in use. Definitely recommend!

Great Looking
Just put in a new shower 🚿 this seat is so good looking so strong. Love how it folds flush with the wall. Easy to clean, and easy to install.

Not a DIY installation, but Good Product
What I like: It is sturdy. There is no wiggle, no sag, no hint of cheap materials. I sat on it to test it under my considerable weight. What I like: I can wash my feet in the shower without risk of falling. What I didn't like: There are 5 mounting bolt holes. With existing hole spacing, there is no way to mount to more than 1 wall stud. I don't trust the plastic anchors. I had to remove drywall on the other side of the tiled wall, install additional horizontal wood members, then patch the removed section of the drywall. And paint. I could have paid someone to do that job, but I hate paying someone to do things I can do myself. And one more thing that could be improved: The amazon site shows satin nickel as an option, but amazon gave me no way to order something other than chrome. Some women (not mentioning any names) don't like chrome in the same shower stall as the brushed nickel things.

Met our High Expectations!!
Apple is one of the few products that creates a quality image from the start with its packaging. Here's another! The seat doesn't connect to the internet - but it was designed to look and work like the quality product its marketing and packaging promise, and the product itself doesn't disappoint! Really nice to see and use! Probably not for DYI install as our installer needed a special diamond porcelain drill bit to install in shower - but we really like it now that it's here! All in all and compared to other wood teak seats, etc. a great value, too!

Slippery When Wet
After having to tear out drywall on the wall opposite the shower and adding two by six braces in order to have a solid mounting surface inside the shower, it was easy to install. However, since it was not 16 inches side it could not be attached to the studs already in the new shower wall I had the contractor install with 16 inch intervals for both the handicap bar and the bench, I had to add the support by removing the drywall as noted. The first thing I noticed after installing it was it was too slippery when wet to sit on. I would start sliding off the seat while trying to take a shower. Okay, I found what was a bathtub headrest with suction cups to place on the seat. This worked for a little over a year until the suction cups wore out on the headrest that I converted to a butt rest. I replaced that with another mat that worked for a while until it started sliding off the seat as well. I now notice that the seat is tilted downward from back to front causing anything placed on it to slide off, my butt included. I don't know if this is because the two by sixes installed in the wall shifted or if the seat has losend where the folding mechanism is. If you are buying this to prop your foot on to shave your legs, fine. But don't count on it to be used by a handicapped person to sit on in the shower without additonal materials. I liked the smaller size allowing me to turn in the seat when needed, but other than that I don't recommend it for handicapped use. I am replacing it with a larger folding seat that can be attached directly to the studs in the shower wall.

Keep looking this is not the one
This product is horrible. It was pretty sketchy and we had to reinforce it and then it was so slick like ice the client had us come back and remove it from the bathroom which meant also repairing tile and now it's in the trash. Not good to have a slick product for someone who obviously needs this because they have issues. This product cost us money in the long run and was a waste of time and money. Not a good idea for people with disabilities or balance problems or maybe add something to it so they dont slide off. Our client flat out said get rid of it she hated it. Cost us the product cost plus time and labor to install and remove and repair the wall.
