Calvary Chapel Distinctives

Wasn’t new as stated.

Pastor Chuck Smith was anointed by the Holy Spirit to start something really huge that kept growing in getting the gospel out to millions of people worldwide. He was inspired by the Holy Spirit through these distinctives that are purely and soundly from the Bible only which make Calvary Chapel successful with all the missions and church planting done world wide through the Jesus movement in the 70's until his death. Now Church plants seem to be continuing but since Pastor Chuck Smith's death and the take over by his son Brian Broderson these distinctives are not being followed like they used to be in some Calvary Chapel Church plants and some pastors haven't even heard of the Late Pastor Chuck Smith or his Biblically based Holy Spirit inspired writings of the Calvary Chapel Distinctives or other great books and pamphlets he has written. But I think if there is an elder, a member, a bible teacher or leader or any church that has been partially influenced or exist or planted by someone from a Calvary Chapel Church or Missionary from some where or pastor, then they should be worth their while to dig into this very small little book and open the pages to see what the foundation is that brought God's providential gears to where they are as church now and how to keep the power of their church going, from what distinguished Calvary Chapel nondenominational church and made it grow exponentially from other denominational churches that didn't Its just sound Bible, worshiping in spirit and truth, but it's Important to know who the Spurgeons andEdwards are of this past century and what made them so.

I've read this book three times and look forward to reading it again.It's a great reference.

Having experienced the same grace of God as those included in this book and who can relate closely to their history I recommend this book to those who are searching for inner peace.
