I recently decided to take up knitting again after 20+ years. I had gotten rid of all my old aluminum needles and needed a new supply of needles. I decided to give bamboo needles a try and, wow - they are really nice and smooth and definitely long enough for those bigger projects. I would recommend giving them a try!

I bought this set for my wife and she couldn't be happier. She's knitted all her life and only now with the set does she have all the needles to do complicated patterns. She's currently busy knitting a baby's sweater with the set, and talking about how much easier it is, when you have the right tools.

Received items fast and have already put them to use. I have not checked the all of the knitting needles, but I did notice that I received two 5.5mm needles and I do not have the 5.0mm needle. That is my only disappointment because I was planing to use the 5.0mm needle for one of my projects.

For beginners, this set is great for learning to knit. You certainly get a lot of value for the price of this set, however, I think I'll need to invest in some better quality needles. The plastic tubing on the round needles began to break after about 2-3 projects and I ended up having to tape them fo keep them semi-functional. I was a little disappointed to see that the straight needles were bent when they arrived. It's not detrimental to knitting on them, though. Overall, it's quantity over quality for this set. But the accessories (scissors, darning needles, place markers, tape measure, etc) are useful and work well.

really good needles from someone who has been knitting a while because the yarn sticks to the rubber cable part of the circulars but a lot better than most bamboo needles I've bought in the past. I usually knit on metal ones but needed a varitey of sized in a hurry so these were the best option for me. Will keep using till they break (I knit very tight so I imagine they will eventually) but so far Ive had them a while and they have made two blankets as of right now.

Perfect for someone like me who is teaching themselves to knit! Having the longer length is wonderful and they seem very sturdy, even the thinner ones. I love that it comes with so many sizes and the multiple styles, along with accessories. The only thing I could pick at is that the way they are packaged some of them ended up curved very slightly. But that doesn't affect anything! Overall they are wonderful and well worth it!

I was excited about this set until I tried to knit with them. They bowed and were not comfortable to knit with as they felt flimsy. spend a little more and get a good set. These are now in the bottom of my stash to be used as back up until the next goodwill donation since the window to return them has passed.
