I have 12 other cameras, this one is the best one by far.

Repeat...do not buy. I am a huge fan of Reconyx and have used their cameras since they were first introduced. Their card cameras (no cell) are amazing. I own 8 of them. However, the cell version is highly unreliable. I placed a traditional camera next to the Reconyx cell because I thought I was missing things. Sure enough, I capture about 1/3 of all deer moving in front of the camera. They also are extremely prone to taking blank pictures, and on multiple occasions they have have sent me thousands of blank pics...taking a pic every few seconds for hours on end. Fortunately I am on the unlimited plan. The app is also beyond horrible. It crashed constantly, and when it sends an update, you get a 'what's new' message that forces you to close the app repeatedly. I am in the process of trying to return 2 of these pieces of junk even though I missed the return window. Exceedingly bad product.

I've owned many different cell cams. The Reconyx is expensive but so reliable. I have 7 of them running. They sip batteries. They trigger well. The phone app is easy to manage them. Customer service is great. You get what you pay for....

Returning this already insanely priced camera after I found out that I could not use my current $5 month to month Verizon plan to have the camera send photos. Reconyx makes you purchase a plan from them ($5 for 200 pics) and $20 per month for unlimited. My Spartan and Tactacams allow me to purchase my own plan. Reconyx also said if you disconnect when not using, you get charged an additional reconnect fee. On top of the camera being the most expensive trail cam I could find. Nope

Worked great for exactly 30 days. Now it won’t connect and says low battery even after replacing all the batteries. A complete waste of money
