It's good for what it is.
This thing is a crumb vacuum. No more, no less. If I were trying to use it for a heavier-duty application, or had different expectations, I might not like it as much. Here's why I gave it five stars: 1. It holds crumbs. I've had far more expensive, name brand floor vacuums that couldn't keep their contents INSIDE the vacuum. This has a little flapper door that works very well so far. 2. It does a good job with crumbs, dust, and minor dirt. It has plenty of suction for desk and light car vacuuming, and I find it pretty handy to have around. You might pick up a few cheerios, but it's not going to suck dirt out of a floor mat like a proper shop vac. Use this to maintain, not to clean up when things get bad. 3. It has a good filter. This has a modern dual layer filtration system with an outer dust screen, and an inner fine paper filter. It captures fine dust quite well. 4. It's easy to clean out. Just pop off the dust bin, pull both filters out, wash the screen, and tap off the paper filter vigorously. I'll need to replace the paper filter at some point like any vacuum, but it comes with an extra, so no big deal. The battery life is fine, but nothing to write home about. If you're using it daily, you'll want to keep a micro-USB charger handy every few days. I don't use it super heavily, so I'm not best positioned to talk about battery life. It could be sleeker, but this is about as good as it gets for a useful vacuum. If you need something heavy duty for big car messes or serious dirt, you should probably just get a portable shop vac, like a Milwaukee unit. If you want a crumb vacuum for small messes to keep things tidy, this is your vac.

The Mighty Mini-Vacuum
After several years and thousands of purchases, I think this small and mighty vacuum is the thing I use the most. I initially bought it for quick cleanups in the bathroom - I hate seeing hair strands on the floor - and now I whip this thing out several times a day if necessary. It's not meant for big jobs. Reading the reviews makes me wonder if the expectation for this strong, mini machine was meant to replace a standard vacuum which it obviously was not born to do. The instructions say that it can give you 12 mins of cleaning from full charge. I've never had to use it from being fully charged to it dying on me, but after a good amout of cleaning, the charge indicator level drops, so 12 minutes seems reasonable. However, I've seen other reviewers mention that there's no suction or little suction power but this has not been my experience at all. This mighty so far handled everything that came its way - from hair, fine dust, kitchen spills, car interior cleaning and misplaced earrings 🤦🏻♀️ I think this is the best money I've spent. I'm tempted to purchase more just to have it within arm's reach where ever I am in the house. But instead, I've already decided I'm gifting this to friends and family for Christmas. It's something that, guaranteed, would always be in use and be an asset in quick tidy ups. There's nothing to hate about this mini machine: It's cordless, so it goes where you go; Lightweight, no heavy lifting; Very thoughtful charging station/accessory holder; Rechargeable in just under 3 hours; Strong suction. Just buy it, I am so happy I did!

Very Good
I am happy with this purchase so far. It does what is expected of it given some limitations. It is performing according to the many reviews I read. It appears to be well made. The suction is not the greatest but not bad given its size. I think most people will be happy with what it can do. The run time is okay. It will do most small jobs that are typical in doing spot cleaning in your vehicle. It is a little clumsy in some tight spots despite the attachment and the on/off button often gets accidentally engaged because it’s in the area where you hold.

Does Just What I Wanted
I read a lot of reviews of these little vacs. They all have drawbacks, so I decided to go with one of the least expensive with reasonably good reviews. I LOVE it. It does exactly what I expected. It picks up small stuff--for instance, I can vac out my kitchen drawers in a snap, pick up crumbs from tables and counters, grab up small bits on the floor. This is for that sort of cleaning and for "spot" cleaning. It's not going to have amazing suction power. It's not for heavy pet hair though it will get up some. You will need to clean it a couple of times if you pick up a lot of stuff while you're cleaning. But it's easy to clean/wash. I keep mine charging all the time and I've never had it lose its charge doing the bits of "here and there" cleaning that I use it for. Highly recommend. (the one thing I hate is the ridiculously short length of the charging cable)

Battery began to fail after a few years. Otherwise, it's a great vac IF you know its limitations
I didn't buy this to vacuum my car or my house. There is no way it's powerful enough for that. However, what it does to very well is sit in my desk drawer (because it's that compact) and be there for when I need to get crumbs (food or eraser) from my desktop. (the real one, not my computer screen). It also does a great job getting stuff from my keyboard and SMALL areas around my desk. It runs for about 10 minutes on a charge and charges from my desktop charger or a USB cable connected to my computer. Everything about this shouts SFW (Satisfactory For the Workplace). If you need something for that then you'll be delighted. If you need anything more then you'll be better off looking elsewhere. And, as long as you're here, for my car and larger jobs around the house where a carpet vac isn't the best choice I really like my Armor All 2.5 Gallon 2 Peak HP Wet/Dry Utility Shop Vacuum . It's a convenient size with lots of power. I bought mine (from Amazon of course) about nine years ago and it's still going strong. After a few years of light use the battery began to fail. By light use, I mean using it a few minutes, a few times a week, to clean my desk. By fail, I mean it would only charge to about 60%. With a more robust battery I would have given this four stars.

4.5/5 stars: A bit awkward to handle, also a bit of 'elbow grease' helps
Just got this product today. Vacuumed my car for about 10 minutes with it, and feel confident enough with that experience to give this 4.5/5 stars. Rounded up to 5 then, it is. My wife and I have no pets. We will mainly be using this to vacuum our two sedans every 4-6 weeks, and do some light dusting around our apartment (sofa/bed/shelves/windows). For those tasks, this vacuum works very well... mostly. My car's trunk is lined with a very VERY low profile carpet... like 0.2 mm (millimeter). The fabric has almost like a 'velcro' structure, so small pieces of debris seem to stick to that surface. The vacuum is certainly not strong enough to pick up debris in that context. If I add the attachment, and swipe/wave across that surface back and forth, I can eventually pick stuff up. For smooth surfaces, this will pick stuff up like a champ. Like I mentioned, my wife and I don't have pets, so we won't be running into the kinds of 'capacity complaints' that other pet owners are having in these reviews. We will be using this vacuum for 5-minute jobs at a time, and in that sense, this vacuum works just fine. While the vacuum does run out of battery pretty quickly (as I think others have pointed out), unless you are running this thing for 25-30 minutes everyday, you're not gonna have much trouble. On average, my wife and I might use this thing for a few minutes a day, and we find ourselves plugging it in to re-charge maybe once every 10-14 days. My two other complaints are both minor. One is that it's not the most user-friendly to hold. No grooves or anything like that for your hand. It's like holding a wide pipe in your hand. You might find yourself adjusting the grip every few minutes. (I found myself inadvertently pushing the button and turning the vacuum on and off multiple times inside the 10 minutes that I held it.) The last (quite minor) complaint is that the base for the vacuum is a bit of nonsense. Yes, you can insert the attachment on there, but then it's quite firmly snug in there, so whenever you want to use the attachment, you have to pick up the whole base and remove the attachment with both hands. It would have been great if the attachment could be just housed inside the vacuum when not in use, and then just standing the vacuum on its own. Overall, good enough. It certainly looks more handsome than other handheld vacuums... almost like a piece of art. I would buy it again if I had to make the decision all over again. We won't be using this very often, so we expect it to last at least a few years.

Faulty charging port, only lasted 4 months.
I've always had good luck with Bissell products but this one is making me seriously reconsider any future purchases. For starters the way that the vent fan is positioned on the side makes it just blow stuff around that you are trying to pick up. Second, the suction is pretty weak and only picks up really small/light stuff. Most importantly, though, the charging port started to malfunction after about 4 months of really minimal use. At first I had to push the plug upwards and hold for a minute or so before it would finally charge and now it's stopped charging completely.

Great Life Choice!!
I have only had this for about 3 days, but I have used it daily! Its footprint is so small it can be stored anywhere without taking up a ton of space like a regular Dustbuster type hand vacuum, and I love that it charges by USB. I know this is marketed as a car vac, which I did use it in my car and it was fine (probably not if you had a huge vacuuming job though) but for me it has come in handy with cleaning up crumbs/debris on counters/floors, I have used it on my (non-carpeted) stairs to get rid of dust and hair, as well as on the bathroom floors to clean up hair. I have a small powder room bathroom that is difficult to navigate my stick vacuum in, and this thing was PERFECT! Also made cleaning base boards super easy, just popped the brush tool up and was able to clean them all in minutes. Oh, and the tools are easily stored right on the base so I am not searching for them throughout the house. I love that! My only complaint, if I had to find one, is that I keep "fat fingering" the power button, so if I am cleaning and change the position of the vacuum I may bump it off, or when I am emptying the canister I may turn it on. But it's not a big deal at all, in my opinion. So far, suction works well, power seems to last a while, and it's easy to empty. I actually saw 1 of these on a popular home shopping TV channel (not a Bissell brand) and was going to purchase, but the reviews weren't so great. So, naturally I took to Amazon and found this, with great reviews - did not disappoint! If anything changes I will update my review, but so far, after 3 days - Great Life Choice!
