Iconic New York

I live in NYC, but I still buy beautiful photo books of this wonderful city - and "Iconic New York" is most definitely a beautiful book. It would be difficult to choose my favorite photo, since so many of them are in that category. Most of the photos are in color and there's a nice variety.

Wonderful and Very Special Collection of Chris Bliss's best work. No photographer captures the City better than Chris Bliss. This edition goes far beyond his earlier edition, and is a most have for any collector of New York City photos. It's also a must have book for any recent visitor to the City, and for those who, for whatever reason, are unable to travel to America's, and the Wold's, most exciting City.A glass of wine, listing to Billy Joel sing A New York State of Mind, while enjoying the images of this great book. A perfect evening.

Spectacular Book of fantastic photos by world renowned photographer Chis Bliss. Being a collector of photos and images of New York City for many years, I can attest to the the fact that Chris' work is the best collection by anyone who has photographed New York City, and this collection now includes outstanding images of what's new in the old city. A great way to experience the City when traveling is not an option. A most have for those who love New York, and for travelers who would like a special arm chair experience of the most exciting city in the world.

This is truly a great collection of photos of New York and captures the heart of the city. I love the mix of color and black and white shots, a nice balance. You just keep thinking what a great shot as you go through the book and then the next page is another great shot. It brings back a lot of memories from the times we have been there and all the fun we had. Looking through it has made me want to go back and visit again, soon.

This is hands down the best book of New York shots I have ever seen. Bliss seems to be at the right place at the right time... every time. I particularly like the shots of Central Park in the different seasons. He has a eye for perspective and composition that actually makes it art rather than just a travelogue, which most of the others are. Keep up the good work, Chris.
