I order this art easel to make my life easier when I draw/sketch! It is a nice size at 16" x 12" so you can fit up to an 11 x 14 piece of paper with no problems at all. It seems to be very stable and well made, I read a review stating they didn't think is was real wood but it is. The canvas area (12x16) is solid basswood, basically a thin solid sheet or wood plank. I have only had it for a few days but it has made a huge difference as my back and neck no longer hurt as badly. This was a good purchase and I would definitely buy it again and suggest it to anyone looking for such a produce as either a gift or for themselves. Well made.

The wood stand/drawing/drafting board is lovely! It is sturdy, adjustable and has some weight to it, as any wood piece would. I originally bought it to support my light board which you can see in the photos, though it makes an amazing drawing board and being adjustable can work for anyone. It’s a large size(see measurements in description) and I was trying find something close in size to my lightboard as most actual light board stands are not wood but mesh metal and I believe lend very little support to an item that you want to last a very long time! I am so glad I found this. There is just a slight difference in size and I love the angles I can work on! It’s perfect. If you are considering it, it is worth it. As I looked I could not find another like it though I’m sure they do exist. There is a place for pencils, blending sticks at the bottom but when in a support capacity with the light board it takes done of that space. Hope thus helps others to make a decision according to their needs. I’m loving mine and it is very versatile.

The product is excellent and has great quality. It will help me a lot with my watercolor paintings. I'm giving it 4 stars because the delivery was terrible. The package was open, but it didn't damage the product.

My youngest daughter loves to draw, so this was perfect to setup on top of her desk in her room! Great price, and the build quality seems very sturdy and built to last! It's also good that it's adjustable!

Price and size were perfect for me. I have a much larger Blick board but it’s actually too big to fit in my desk. Great for watercolor or gouache on paper. Not great if you’re doing something that requires a lot more pressure or a larger heavier canvas. PROS: - lightweight - well constructed - 5 adjustments - relatively small footprint if you’re low on desk space CONS: - main board is very thin wood veneer -in other words it’s not a thick solid piece of wood (see photos) but I pressed on it very hard and there was barely any give. - no handle

Very nice. I love the larger size which functiona as well as an artist's slanted desk. I prefer this with a regular adjustable desk so I can still use my desk for computer work and then simply move this into place when I'm ready to do art. It collapses flat for storage.

At last I have a proper tabletop easel for my paintings. Up till now I’ve propped my painting block on a book but now I can set it on the easel at different angles to achieve the effect I want and it doesn’t slip. I was amazed at how light it is considering it’s wooden. It’s an absolute must for me now and I wish I’d had it years ago.

I like the quality of the material used and the simplicity of setting it up. It sits perfectly on my desk without moving, sliding or shifting. It does take up a lot of the room on my desk surface, so it requires a larger desk and/or some nearby flat surface for your tools. I also like that I can easily change the angle in under 10 seconds. Having the paint surface at an angle that is more parallel to my upper body has been great for my posture and neck muscles. I've tried setting it at a lower angle for watercolor painting, and that's when the small edge at the bottom started to be a little in the way. However, it only required a small hand placement adjustment, and I haven't thought about it since. The drawing surface is thick enough to be sturdy, and thin enough to clamp a small led lamp to it. The small edge on the bottom is also useful to hold a couple of crayons and an eraser. I've been sticking tape on the surface and taking it off without any issues. The wooden surface has kept its integrity. I am careful not to drop water on it. Bonus: once it folds down, it also serves as a storage space for my palette and other small items. I'm impressed and happy with this purchase!
