Direct Fit 2017 GMC Acadia SLE 2WD
I have a 2017 GMC Acadia SLE 2WD 2.5L DI DOHC the car has a stop/start feature and one day while in the middle of a drive the car shut off as normal and did not turn back on. I did everything I could to get the car to run but it would not turn back on. I towed the car home and replaced the starter. This starer is a one to one fit with the exception of a tab that I highlighted in red. The tab must be cut off and the connector will fit with out an issue.

Good OEM starter
The starter was perfect I just wish GM didn't put it in a position that required the removal of the transfer case and two axles just to change the starter
