Glue just doesn't stay stuck to it
Best glue roller and silicone tray ever! I make a lot of end-grain cutting boards, and this roller is a must-have to increase efficiency, because there are so many extra glue-ups. Add to that the fact that Titebond glue peels right off, both the tray and the roller. Awesome piece of kit. Feels and acts like quality stuff. Don't know how I survived without it.

Just a dumb gimmick, right? Wrong.
I kept avoiding this because it seemed like so much of a gimmick. I mean, I know how to glue wood. While making some cutting boards for some gifts, on a whim I threw this in with another order. What a surprise! It really does work, and cut my glue-up time in half and then some. It really speeds things up, and I’ve had much better results. And when I forget to clean it afterward (because we all have three projects going at the same time, right?), the glue peels right off. It’s a little more of a pain to peel it off because of the texture, so washing in warm water is ideal. It’s a little small, so it works for smaller glue-ups, but might not be great for big flat laminations. If you are hesitating, just throw it in with an order and I think you’ll be glad you did.

Excellent Tool for Clean, Even Glue Application!
The Sili Glue Roller with Silicone Application Tray has become one of my favorite shop accessories. It makes spreading glue fast, clean, and incredibly consistent—especially on larger glue-ups. The roller applies a nice, even coat without soaking up glue like traditional brushes or sponges, so there’s very little waste. Cleanup is a breeze. Once the glue dries, it peels right off the silicone tray and roller, allowing you to reuse it over and over without hassle. The tray is also a great touch—plenty of room for glue, and the textured surface helps load the roller easily. Whether you’re doing woodworking, crafts, or DIY projects, this tool is a fantastic value and makes glue-ups smoother and much less messy. I wish I had bought it sooner!

Dry lube is your friend
Many concerns are the roller binding up. I sprayed some WD40 Dry Lube in the handle near where it rolls and viola it works superb. Did 10 13x50 glue ups and the thing rolls smooth are buttah!

Works OK, but overpriced, given inferior construction of handle assembly
When it didn't lock up, the roller did an OK job of spreading glue on my workpieces (edges, in my case). However, I encountered a problem documented by others - the roller sticks/jams when it slides over to the side where roller attaches to the handle (see photo). As you might expect, there is not much friction under the silicone roller when it is riding on a film of glue, so any friction between roller and handle can cause skidding of roller. The metal handle is of cheap manufacture, and lacks a "stop" and washer to reduce binding near the curve of roller handle. I did achieve some improvement by spraying WD-40 inside the roller (there are no bearings). Cleanup is OK, but don't let the glue harden, otherwise you'll be digging glue out of all the grooves. This might not happen if you let the glue dry, but I decided not to chance it. The glue tray is a handy place to rest the roller while you apply a bead of glue to workpieces. Based on other reviews I did not bother to try to fill tray with glue and run roller over it. Not to mention glue dripping off the roller when removed from tray. You can buy silicone molds quite cheaply for things like epoxy casting, hence I concluded that the silicone parts of this set didn't cost a lot to make. The roller size suited my needs, but I would have liked a larger handle. Despite all the negative features, the roller did save me a lot of time - previously I spread the glue with my finger, which required me to wipe it off for every piece glued.

Great little gadget.
This little roller is awesome for full glue coverage glue ups. Dried glue peels easily from the roller.

Everything ok

Le doy cinco estrellas porque el material de silicon es muy facil de limpiar y el diseño del rodillo es adecuado para distribuir el pegamento, aunque yo cometi el error de no observar el tamaño del equipo y no me va a ser muy util

I almost didn't buy it due to small size, but don't let it fool you. This works great spreading glue on larger surfaces. Clean up is an absolute thrill, let it dry and peel it off. No residue, no fuss, no mess.

Works awesome.

Brilliant little spreader. Squirt your glue on the piece and spread around with this. Keep in mind this doesn’t work like a paint roller. Has sped up production times and keeps a much cleaner work area with much less glue waste than before.
