I think an xl would work, too, as the lace waist band was a *little* snug but wearable. The fabric is a lighter weight nylon, very soft (so is the lace); very good quality overall, IMO. I got the Small beige slip. I am 5'4" 112 lbs. It fits smoothly (no bagginess) and is the correct layer for a white skirt.It comes to about 2" above knee with one slit. It has a great lace waistband, which goes all the way around (it doesn't look like that in photo). Very good slip!

I needed a simple slip that stays put under a few thinner skirts and this is the one! It's smooth without being clingy, has a pretty and wide top waistband. The length falls just to the knee on me (I'm 5'1') No problems here!

This was a true medium for me, and it had some give to the material. I am 5' 9" and 155 lbs. and the medium fit well but did ride up a bit as the day went on (sizing up may prevent that). This is not fitted past the hip, so if you are wearing a figure hugging dress, this will bunch underneath it; however, this worked perfectly for under a flowy maxi skirt. The lace on the top is very smooth, so I don't think it would show through. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I bought the same slip 6 months ago. Holding up to the old slip, it's more than an inch shorter and an inch smaller around the waste. They're both medium slips 18" length.

It's a little longer than I had hoped for, but I'll hem it. I wear it over my leggings, but under my longer shirts so that my shirt doesn't stick to my leggings. I ordered a second one that I won't hem because it's good for skirts and dresses. I love the lace waist so it doesn't curl or bind.
