This thing is trash. I'm very disappointed in this product. With all the safety concerns parents have I was hoping this would be a great product. We purchased the first one and it never beeped. We connected everything properly, nothing. Did troubleshooting, nothing. Had someone else try and decided maybe it was just this one that was defective. We exchanged it, the seller happily sent a replacement with no issues. When the new one arrived it also was defective or maybe the product just doesn't work. We were able to get a refund but this thing is not worth the hassle.

This product has such promise if the makers would make a simple change. I used this item for 6 weeks. it comes with 2 key fobs and the chest clip and charging cable. it worked flawlessly every time. LOVED it. i have a couple of complaints, however. the chest clip itself is quite bulky, especially when placing on an infant. i had mine on a convertible car seat on a 10 month old and if there were any less room btween the seat's chest clip and the lower buckles, this would not have fit. We made it work.My biggest problem are the key fobs. you get 2, which is great. BUT, they are made with the same rigid plastic as the chest clip and the little plastic piece that attaches to the key ring broke after about a month of sporadic use. Thin, rigid little piece. I was a bit disappointed, but glad to have that spare fob. So i promptly placed the new fob on, and the same piece on that one broke in 4 days!I actually ordered 2 of these products as i have multiple littles. Im glad i never opened that second Copilot, because as much as i REALLY want this to work, it just doesnt. i'll be returning that one. no key fob makes this product useless. i know with a little work this could save lives. i really hate that it is something so simple and fixable on the company's end.

Disappointed with this item because it doesn't work as advertised. I tried testing it several times and the alarm did not go off. Finally got it to work by separating the key fobs taking one with us when we left the house. It went off after walking about 30 feet away. I don't mind the further distance for the alarm, but my biggest concern is that it won't go off like it's supposed which is its whole purpose. I plan on testing it a few more times before making my final decision about its reliability.

love it! love it! only reason for 4 stars is because the buckle is a bit bulky.I tested this a bunch of times and it works perfectly every time!!

I bought this busy I was freaked out when I was pregnant that we would somehow forget the baby but honestly now that the baby is here, I don't feel like you could ever forget your baby. As far as the product goes, I think the idea is brilliant but the execution isn't there. It didn't seem to connect well and was unreliable in our tests.

We didn't get this installed so I cannot speak to it's functionalityThis clip is huge. Absolutely huge.This is 3x the size of the stock clip that came with the car seat. Unfortunately I didn't even get it installed because my heart sank the second I pulled it out of the box. I just held up this clip as a dry fit and it stretches across the whole seat from edge to edge. I do understand there is some technology inside it, but at this size it's just too unwieldy. The key fobs as well were much much larger than I anticipated, about twice the size of a normal car entry key fobIf the device works well some of these could be overlooked, but it just isn't something that could work for us

I read so many bad reviews of this but ultimately decided to try it because it was summer and I was paranoid. I tested this over and over again and it always worked for me. The only issue is that because there are two key fobs (which is good) if you close the harness within the range of both and then leave one behind it will continuously beep. I get this is functioning as designed but it’s annoying because you have to wait to clip the harness until you’re basically in your car and the other fob isn’t around. But because this works as it should I would recommend it.
