Westfalia 350055600001 Rail Quick Release – Third Bike Extension – Compatible, bikelander Classic and BC 60 (Version 2018)

I originally purchased the 2 bike rack because I dont have space to store a full size rack as its obviously more expensive than some fixed racks. You do however get what you pay for :-)I was pleasantly surprised to see that this addition takes very little additional space over the existing one, it still folds down very compactly with the silver 'vertical' support sitting maybe 2 or 3" higher than before. The length and width of the folded rack is the same with just the height being about 3" higher. It took maybe 15 minutes of simple DIY skills to fit it together.As with the 2 Bike rack its very quick and easy to deploy and makes moving bikes around easy. When not being used the 3rd bike part folds away and does not cause any obstruction.Once slight downside I have noted is that with a third bike the rack does 'bounce' a bit more as i guess you would expect if you have 3 bikes on it, however it still looks very stable, just looks a bit disconcerting compared to it being rock solid with 1 or 2 bikes. I am sure it is still 100% safe and moves much less than other racks I have seen.Very pleased with my purchase
