Best flat belt I have ever had!!
It stays where you want it. It doesn't stick to itself like others I've had. Easy to adjust size for different waistline heights. Stays clasped.

Bought to smooth out the "snap bump" on jeans
I try not to buy pants with snaps, because my figure flaw is my tummy, and it sticks out, with the "snap bump" on the pants sticking out even further. Yuck! However, I saw this belt and ordered it with the thought of covering/smoothing the snap bump. Humorously, the slide mechanism on the clear plastic belt sticks out a little itself, but I turn it to the side where it doesn't bother me. The "buckle" lies flat, and the smooth plastic covers the annoying snap bump.

This is my second purchase of this belt
This is my second purchase of this belt. This is my second favorite belt. My favorite belt fits well and has a big ornamental buckle. I bought this one because I usually wear my shirt out or wear a tunic. It shows less of a bulge then my other belt but it still has a little bump. Yes it is sort of cheap looking and will wear out and about 2 years. But most of my belts wear out in 2 years and I have a hard time finding one that fits. I would say a negative would be if you lose or gain weight you have to adjust the size you can't just go to the next notch. I often wear colored jeans so the clear is my best option.

Good investment
My first invisabelt lasted years. During a recent trip part of the plastic buckle broke and while I could still use it, it took a little effort to get it buckled. Since I wear it frequently and always use it when I traveling, I immediately ordered another. There is No problem getting through security at the airport since it’s all plastic. It lays flat and is undetectable under tops worn on the outside of pants. It’s easy to adjust to fit. The width is great and fits whatever I’m wearing but you do need belt loops if wearing with pants. I’m always in a hurry and find it so easy to buckle. I have not found any other belt out there that compares with this one. Although it more expensive then I’d like, it is nicely made, is comfortable, easy to buckle and perfect for travel so an overall good investment.

they are now a must have for me
The belt arrived in a few days without any packaging problems. My first invisibelt was black and the narrower one. It fit fine ,was easy to adjust, and comfortable. Some of my pants start out almost skin tight and need help to stay up by the end of the day,so I always wear an invisibelt with them. Other pants have this thing going on at the zipper and button that make the pants stick out and add the look of extra pounds,so I wear an invisibelt with those as well. I have leather belts with buckles that add the look of extra pounds under a shirt so I find that I wear my invisibelt more than any of those. It is a flexible belt with a hard plastic fastener that lays totally flat. The belt adjust easy for pants that hit at the hip or waist. In fact the belt has about 6" - 8" range of adjustment. I ordered the clear one because the black showed under summer shirts against light colored pants. I also ordered the clear one in a wider style and like it as well as the thinner one. Both belts are comfortable with the flexible plastic providing some give for comfort. The faster has not broken and is easy to work. The belts are not designed to be seen, although the embossed print on the black one make it more attractive than the clear one. I enjoy them so much that when two belts arrived, due to my own ordering mistake, I kept the extra one for a gift. They are now a must have for me.

Hard no
I got the "silver zebra stripe" version of this belt. First, what others are saying about the smell is accurate. Smells strongly like chemicals and has not dissipated in the week I've had it. Extremely stiff plastic, which makes adjustment difficult, and it has a crimp in it that won't go away (even though the belt came in a round container). The length adjustment feature is bulky and makes it difficult to thread through the belt loops in my jeans. The edges of the belt cut into my flesh at various places and left angry red marks above my waistline. Cannot recommend this belt. Much prefer my fabric "ratchet-type" belt with flat buckle--no smell and no sharp edges...

If the plastic buckle cracks...the rest of that belt is trash....
Update - So sad....Like I said, I had one for the longest time. Never failed me and then I gave it away. Got a replacement and not too long after, the plastic buckle cracked, leaving the rest of the belt useless. I think they should come up with a metal buckle in order to avoid this kind of issue. Now I have bought a few of the military style belts with metal buckles that can be switched around and all and they are also VERY flat, which was the whole point in buying these plastic belts anyway!Well, kind of glad I didn't get many more after the previous review.........................................................Dear all, so glad that I found this smelly plastic belt. It is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Will order another 4 or 5 so that I can have a lifetime supply of it.Ok, explaining the statement above:1. tough cheap plastic feel: My first thought when I got it last year "WHAT?! $20.00 for this plastic crap?!" After prolonged daily use, I realized that this is actually what I wanted. It only feels like that, but it is actually plastic of very good quality for the job! Imagine a soft/jelly-ish belt that has to hold your pants and waist together, how is this thing gonna work? It is not gonna because it has no strength like this tough plastic belt. I gave mine away in August in Brazil, thinking "I'll just get another one when I get back to US." Big mistake! Most of the Invisibelt are "New and Improved". This means that they are more malleable and softer. PROBLEM: the belt adjustment would not stay in place, thus, not holding things together as it should. That's when I realized that the tough plastic is actually the one that worked. It took me 4 months to find this item, just like the old one I had. So happy!!! FYI: I did order the "New and Improved" invisibelt, but had to return them (yes, I got 2 of them, thinking that they were the same as my old ones) because they were having the issue described above.2. Bad smell: YES, it does small BAAAAAD when you first open the container. Don't know why? My old one only smelled like plastic. Anyhow, what you can do is to put it in a sink, filled with hot tap water and some laundry detergent of your choice. Let it sit in there for about 10 minutes. It will get rid of the bad smell and soften the plastic. After that, wipe the belt dry with a towel and let it air dry. Promise, it'll be much better! I got mine yesterday and that's what I did. I am happily wearing it right now :-DMy tummy is once again, FLAT! ( I hated all the pictures taken while I was wearing regular belts as it always seemed that I had a belly, all because of the buckle.....ugh....)It's a great product, just wish that the price wouldn't be so high....for plastic.....Enjoy!!
