aFe TA-4107P Takeda Cold Air Intake System with Pro Dry S

To start off, this intake is very well made, and works extremely well. On the mazda forums the real dyno sheets show it makes power.. Around 6 or so, but that's better than nothing. The dry filter is also very nice, and a welcome change to the annoying K&N. I gave the intake 4 starts because it doesn't seem like it's totally made for mazdas with fog lights. It took a lot of messing with the mount and the bolt, and some cursing to finally get the bottom of the intake to bolt onto the car, because the bottom of the filter was just kissing the top of the fog light housing. I did eventually get it on and WOW does it really make a difference. The power is negligible, I mean it feels a little different, but a full throttle it really completely changes the engine noise. It sounds very noticeably angrier and deeper. Definitely worth the purchase.

I've had this mounted in my car for about 30k miles, and haven't cleaned the filter yet. Thinking it will need it next summer.The engine sounds incredible, and the throttle response turns the already fun Mazda3 into a racecar.The rubber couplers are aging badly.
