I was introduced to wax earplugs by my husband when I first rode on the back of his touring motorcycle. Surprise: it’s not the engine but the wind noise that the rider hears most intensely! We wear them in comfort all day, able to hear each other speaking with “indoor voices” over inside-helmet Bluetooth intercom, arriving less fatigued at the end of the day’s journey. I liked the wax earplugs he has supplied me so much, I searched for a set of my own and found these in time for cross-country air travel. Very happy with the performance against jet engines and painfully loud intercom announcements and announcement signal pings. I could converse with my seat mates and rest peacefully overnight as well. Performance was as expected. And I was pleased that they didn’t leave a blue stain in my ears like others I’ve used. These easily customized earplugs come with two storage cases - for the set and for a pair discreetly stowed in pocket or purse. No reason not to bring them everywhere! Use them and reuse them many times, then go on to the next pair. (Past experience with a similar product was that they get less malleable over time, and a bit dingy warmed and rolled in dirty hands; I can only speculate with my new set that I’ll know when it’s time for a fresh pair.) We live in a loud world! I suspect many are losing their hearing earlier in life than in the past. My Lessons Learned: 1. Movie theaters have been too loud for years. Out of concern for our hearing, we always equipped our children with earplugs on our family movie outings. The last time I went to a movie with my daughter and grandchild, I forgot to bring earplugs. I had to leave after 20 minutes after no response to a request to lower the volume. The pain persisted for two days! I need to keep a pair of these with me at all times. This set makes it easy. 2. I attended my first and last indoor rock concert about 40 years ago; spent the whole concert with my hands over my ears. (F*** that!) As a classically trained musician, I knew I could not afford to lose one of my best assets: excellent hearing! 3. My husband’s career also depends on acute hearing. From industrial hearing protection to headsets for home power tool usage to motorcycle riding with wax earplugs that fit very comfortably under a helmet, he doesn’t mess around concerning his hearing. Neither should you, friend! Thus, in my seventh decade, I can hear bird song, kids or cats getting into mischief, low voices, subtly rendered, non-amplified music performances, and so much more. These Becheln Silicone Ear Plugs are excellent on every category of scoring. Price, excellent, for $8.49 I got 5 pairs, each reusable 5 times, equals 25 wearings at 34 cents per use. For hygienic reasons, I chose to wash mine in a mild antibacterial soap and dry thoroughly between wearings, and that has worked well. Next category, comfort is wonderful. Unlike the little earplugs that expand inside the ear canal, creating pressure and some discomfort if you're lying down, the Becheln Ear Plugs simply form flatly to the shape of your ear, over the canal, without entering the inner ear canal. The silicone material is very comfortable, free of pressure and perfectly formed to the natural contours of your ear, so it feels natural. Next category, effective noise cancellation is unbelievably great. I live in a condo where at times, neighbors turn up their music and tv's and the bass, especially travels through walls and floors. Now I like to meditate, read, snooze, and relax at my leisure, without being annoyed by these unwanted sounds. I was astonished and very pleasantly by how complete and effectively the Becheln ear plugs blocked the annoying background noises emanating from other units in my building. Finally I could filter out everything except the sound of my own voice which is my point of focus during meditation and prayer. When doing other activities such as reading or napping, I was free of external noise distraction. So, an excellent product on every scale of measurement, and surprisingly affordable. Highly recommended if you are a student, have noisy neighbors, sleep in the daytime, like to read and meditate in peace, and want to eliminate background noise using the most comfortable earplug available.

These earplugs are unlike any i have seen before. Upon opening, they have a large gumdrop like appearance and texture. They have the pliablility of play-doh and easily mold to your ear shape. They are very comfortable, even for side sleepers like myself. They stay completely put throughout the night even though i toss and turn ferociously. Noise cancelation was good. I could still hear the loud fan very faintly which was fine as i find that comforting. I believe if a very loud noise happened or my dogs were to bark i would beable to hear it which is important to me. I was able to hear an alarm still. This design is far superior to any others i have tried. I get bothered by small noises other people are able to ignore and that keeps me awake all night in seething anger. These did not give me complete and total silence, but very close. i do not want total silence, as i feel the need to be aware of my surroundings still. After putting them back into the case i noticed that they begin forming back into their original gumdrop shape. So overall this is a quality product for a reasonable price that delivers on the promise of a good night's sleep.

Best earplugs Ive tried. I wore these for 4 nights camping at a busy festival, sharing a tent with a loud snorer and managed to get to sleep every night. They cut out most of the noise so its faint enough to ignore. They are easy to mould, comfortable to wear and someone with long hair I also appreciated that they were not sticky as others have stuck to my hair in the past. I have already purchased again!

I really love these ear plugs! I got them delivered recently and was quite surprised bec they look like little balls of blue clay. They are really soft, malleable, easy to insert into my ears and the they stay in place! I used for sleeping when i nap during the day due to a medical condition my body and i are frequently overly exhausted. I nap 2 to 3 times a day and these have been amazingly helpful. Pros: easy to use 2 in a small carrying case included for travel earplugs can be made smaller and shaped to fit inside ears perfectly Can sleep comfortably Ear plugs do not fall out or move during sleep at all washable and reusable option noises are cancelled, completely sound free which makes these great for sleeping. i also tried using 1 ear plug in the shower, to see if these ear plugs would come out once wet, bec the summer is coming up and i hate swimmers ear. NOPE. No movement at all! They stay in place!! cons: as of right now i have no complaints about these! Also, the seller is fantastic and reached out to ensure my order was delivered. Apenas los acabo de utilizar y reducen el ruido a un 80 % aproximadamente. Lo suficiente para dormir. Es la primera vez que uso tapones y aún no estoy muy impuesto. Son cómodos y fáciles de usar. Aunque debes acomodarlos bien y acostarte bien sino la almohada te va a molestar.
