Works perfect to replace the old one that was covered with cat hair. Really helps keep hair from building up in the water pump in the cats fountain.

First off I want to say that it is effective at cleaning the water. I replace my cats water filters every week and usually it comes out full of hair and debris inside. My cats seem to enjoy drinking water so it must be doing it’s job. I just don’t like how it looks, it looks some what cheap. It would make me feel better if it was thicker to filter out more rather than thinner. I usually run the new filter under water for 5 seconds before installing to water fountain to break it in. I can tell when to change it bc my cats tend to stay away from the fountain, when I take a look at the filter it’s usually dirty which means something is working. I put a lighter for comparison of item.

This does a great job filtering out any leftover food from your pets mouth. It’s a perfect match for the fountain and holds it’s shape well.

I like how these filters fit into Mitzy's water fountain. The four filters will last for at least 2 months.
