Great bright & colorful lights!
We love the Aldie brand of lights. We have them in green/red for Christmas and got these purple ones for Halloween. They are very bright and saturated color making them perfect and better than their competitor’s options.

Works as well as the original OEM bulbs
Bought these bulbs to replace up lights from the manufacturer that were included at install. Those lasted about 2 years. Can't comment on the longevity of the replacement bulbs, but the brightness was just a good. Couldn't find 10 degree angle lights, so had to go with these 15 degree angle lights. I didn't really notice a difference in the area of coverage since they are for a porch column. Also bought a pack of 60 degree angle bulbs for some tree up lights that burnt out as well. Those have worked well so far.

The narrow beam makes a difference for architectural highlights
This bulb is just wanted I needed to highlight a new fountain I installed on my deck. I didn't want a flood light illuminating the whole area - just the fountain itself. And boy! What a difference.I've only used one of the bulbs I bought, but it was worth paying for the whole set of them to get it, and now I have backups.

Like the lights nice and bright but when I went use extras turns out only 3 of the six workedBest to check all lights when you receive them

Complete Fail... but good customer service
I read and believed the positive reviews on these MR16 LED light bulbs and purchased 30 to install in a set of 24 fixtures so I would have spares. So far, 5 of the 24 bulbs I've deployed have failed within six months of installation... and total usage is probably in the 50-100 hour range. I'm pretty much out of spares now and will be replacing the whole lot with a different product shortly.Bottom line, not sure if I just got a bad batch or if the products are substandard, but a failure rate of 5 out of 24 (20%+) within six months is pretty unacceptable for LED light bulbs.UPDATE May 2023:I received a response from the seller/manufacturer about two months after posting this review. They indicated that I must have received a bad batch as they haven't seen similar issues in the past and offered to replace or refund. I'll update this review when I hear back from them again.UPDATE August 2023:The manufacturer/seller shipped me replacement bulbs at no charge. I've since seen four more bulbs from the original set fail, but all of the replacement bulbs seem to be working perfectly so far. I'll continue to monitor to see if more old bulbs or if any of the new bulbs fail and will update this review.The manufacturer provided the plausible explanation that they had issues with a new supplier of components that caused a series of bulbs including the ones I purchased originally to fail prematurely as the components were out of specification. Basically, it seems like I happened to receive a bad batch of bulbs.It obviously isn't great that I had these failures, but, even if it took a few months to respond to my initial review, the manufacturer has been great about admitting their fault and replacing the bulbs. I think it says a lot of a manufacturer who stands behind their products and 'makes it right' when something goes wrong.Given that, I'm moving the review from one star to four stars as: 1) this seems to have been a temporary issue with their manufacturing and 2) they stood behind their product.

Reliable and performs to spec
After being powered up for a year through winter and summer outdoors I can verifiably say these bulbs are reliable. The beam spread seems to be correct and stray light tolerable (would need a lens and barn doors to do better). Color temperature also appears correct and the bulbs tolerate considerable under-voltage too. Very happy with these and with the seller.

Real LED bulbs, not just tinted glass
I bought these bulbs for my landscape lights. I have green, red, purple and blue now. They put out very good light at 5 watts and I am very happy that they use colored LED and do not tint the glass. Be careful when you get these as I almost returned as the case and the LED you see inside are all white. There is nothing to indicate the color except small print on the side. When you plug them in the LED lights up and provides the color.
