THE CONNECTORS ON THIS CABLE ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH CONVENTIONAL XLR5 CONNECTORS
I bought this cable to connect an ex-BBC monitor loudspeaker to it’s dedicated amplifier whilst it was being repaired. The original 5-pin to 5-pin XLR cable is routed within the studio wall and impossible to get out.Unfortunately after buying this cable I couldn’t plug it into either equipment - the key way is just slightly out of line. I found a scruffy audio cable which has sufficed for the repair work but I thought it best to advise prospective purchasers that these aren’t accurately made connectors.
