SO much freedom, but definitely some drawbacks.
So, this is a bit of a mixed review.I love the Willow. I really do. I have low supply, and got it to be able to pump more frequently to help try and increase. There's a couple different things I wanna touch on though, so I'm just gonna do this good ol' "pros and cons" style:Pros:- Extreme freedom. I work from home, am doing the whole COVID homeschooling thing with a newborn in tow, and being stuck to the wall every 3 hours for up to a half an hour each time just isn't feasible. However, wearing the Willow, I can pump while doing dishes, washing bottles, making lunch for my other bottle, sitting in on her zoom calls, doing laundry, etc. I don't feel limited at all.- Easy to use. Just pop it in your bra, and go. You don't have to be connected to the app for it to work or anything. Just hit go, and it goes.- I'd say decent battery life? I get a full day out of a single charge.- Extended pumping without having to think about it. I don't have to sit there and stare at the clock to figure out if I've been pumping long enough. It automatically stops after 25 minutes.Cons:UNIT ITSELF:- I've had it for about two and a half months now, and it seems like one side is starting to act up weird. It works, but when I try to increase the suction, it sometimes gets stuck in the "gulping" mode where it pushes the milk into the bag/container. Not all the time, just sometimes. I end up having to stop, unlatch, and reposition it, which is a problem becaaaaause:- You can't force it to adjust any higher than thee third level if you have really low supply. It has what, 7/8 levels of suction? And the max is usually what I'm aiming for, which is possible ONLY after it senses that it's hit half an ounce. I don't know why, this seems extremely arbitrary to me, but it does make it extremely frustrating if you have low supply, you have to unlatch for some reason, and then you try to start it back up again. Because it DOESN'T pick back up on the suction you left it on, it restarts it all over again at the stimulation level. So I still end up hand expressing a LOT.CONTAINERS/BAGS:-I LOVE that the bags give you complete freedom to be in any direction that you want to, but it does suck that they're one time, single use plastic and not recyclable. If they made like, a washable silicone bag? That would be amazing. But the only other option they give you is the container. Which:- The container is EXTREMELY hard to get used to using. There's a lot of steps involved in making sure you don't spill it all over, and if you forget just one, you can end up losing a LOT of milk. I finally got it figured out, but a lot of milk (and tears) were spilled trying to get there. Also, customer service is a bit of a joke. I emailed them trying to get help with the leaking container issue, and never got a response. Not even an acknowledgement that I emailed them. So be prepared to troubleshoot on your own.

good pump for on the go
I purchased this pump because I needed to be more mobile and if we went to visit family I did not want to be stuck to a wall pumping. this pump is great it is a learning curve and watching videos before you use it really helps. the only down falls are that it is very expensive once you add up buying bags and reusable containers. the suction is strong and for me personally a bit to strong but this is my fist baby so I'm not sure if it's just because I am a new mom . the bags are great for if you pump at work snap it in and go and then take it off and into the fridge no touching the milk at all which I love when working. I use the reusable containers at home and wash after each use. the app is off on oz counted but that's ok because I dose out each milk bag at the end of the day into how many oz the baby is currently eating then freeze. I do wish the app was more customizable on pumping options like switching between stimulation and pumping. other than that I have been able to keep up with my pumping schedual and keep my milk supply. to me it has been worth it because I really wanted to give my baby breastmilk for as long as I could.

Not worth the price
I have purchased the Elvie and the Willow pump. the Willow allows you to pump and NOT leak (with the bags only). THE ELVIE LEAKED EVERYWHERE-returned immediately. The Willow doesn't allow you full functionality in their app-not very useful. It just tells you how much milk you pumped and the battery life. My milk pump session WERE ALWAYS WRONG. Some times it would say pump full and would not allow me to continue pumping. Most times my milk would NOT suction into the actual container and or bag. Because the suction sucked (figuratively-not literally) I have opted to return the Willow pump as well because the pump doesn't work. If it suctioned correctly I would definitely keep it, the app malfunctioned and so did the pump suction portion of the pumps. It is possible I just got a bad pump but for the hefty price it should not be having errors and and app malfunctions.

Only lasted a few months before breaking
This pump is so convenient, easy to use and quiet. However it only lasted a couple months before completely breaking so that was very disappointing especially for how much you pay for it!!!

You have a lot of freedom but becomes expensive
I love the willow pump it provides freedom to do what ever you want while pumping. Is very fast and shuts off automatically after 25 mins …But it can be frustrating at times and is not made for exclusive pumping. I have been using it for four months and have had to have it replaced twice. The customer service was amazing tho they helped me trouble shot the problem and as soon as they realized what the issue was they sent me a new pump with in a couple of days. It does become very expensive while exclusively pumping with an over supply. It only holds 4oz in each bag so I would have to use four bags with one pump session 5 to 6 times a day because they are not reusable. The reusable containers only lasted me a month before they on longer worked no matter how much I clean it. After two sets I decided the bags were more convenient and less expensive. Also the flex tubes have to be replaced every two months and it doesn’t notify you…just starts to lose suction and it won’t work.

Willow breast pump
Purchased this online and it stopped working a month and a half after using. The one had issues right away and wasn’t measuring the correct amounts. The other pump disconnected from the app and would not reconnect. The suction phases stopped working and it would get stuck in one or the other. I contact support 8+ times now and have gotten little to no assistance other than to reset the pumps. Great idea, but too many problems and added stress for new moms. Would not recommend.
