Stars Across America (Quilter's Block Party, No. 7)

I love the historical footnotes included with the star patterns. The directions are very clear and easy to follow. A few of of the stars are somewhat difficult with many pieces - but you're only making one of each pattern, and you could opt to use just one or two favorites throughout the quilt.

I have used a lot of Eleanor Burns' books. Her instructions are always very easy to follow and I like the way she shows many illustrations and ways to put different colors together. This book is great for beginner to expert quilters. Our club used it for a block of the month project.

Eleanor Burns has been around a long time and knows her way around a quilt pattern. Her instructions are suitable for beginners and the designs are beautiful enough to interest even the most experienced quilter. She continues with her traditional approach and classic patterns, but with some design twists.
