Urban Platter Active Dry Yeast
This yeast did not rise. It was dead on arrival. The date runs out in December but is already dead yeast.. Not a good value since it did not rise at all! I ruined a pan of rolls by using it. Bad quality. If I could give it less stars, I would. It was a bit expensive too. Won't purchase again.

Is it expired or just poor quality
It works but barely. I was tempted to throw it out when proofing and it didn’t do much but I kept going thinking it’s just a little slow. The bread came out ok but nothing special, kinda worked like an old yeast that was expired. The worst part is I waited a month for it to be delivered when initially it was only supposed to be a couple of days. I was just looking to try something different hoping it would significantly improve my bread but after using the standard Fleischmanns from the grocery store for 30 years I think I’ll just stick to it

Four Failed Loaves: The Yeast Was the Problem
I’m still a beginner at baking, and this dry yeast caused me to fail four bread attempts. I couldn’t figure out why the dough wouldn’t rise, but it turns out the yeast was the problem. When I bought it, I already felt a little unsure since it only had a few months left before the expiration date. And even though it’s technically not expired, it’s completely inactive. If I had more experience, I probably would’ve caught the yeast issue sooner. Instead, I ended up wasting flour, heavy cream, butter, and a lot of time.
