Great bike for anyone and everyone!
I ordered this bike to go on bike rides with my three boys. I had previously purchased a cruiser style bike from a big box store and was not happy with the terrible shifting and cheap feel of the bike. I live in Iowa and most of the trails are fairly flat with just moderate hills. So, I decided on a one speed bike and the more research I did, the more this bike kept popping up. I am also overweight and I wanted a bike that didn’t make me feel uncomfortable or like I was going to break it. When my bike arrived, I was super excited to get it put together. Assembly was pretty easy, however, I did have one problem when I went to assemble the seat. The instructions said to put the seat post in prior to putting the seat on the post. When I did this, I accidentally dropped the seat post into the frame. It was in there really really well and took quite a lot to get it unstuck. Of course, after I did this I noted later in the instructions where it mentions to be careful and not do this. It would have been handy if this portion was a little more obvious. After dropping it into the frame the first time, once rescued, I installed the seat before putting it on the frame. This meant there was no way it could fall all the way down into the frame. Other than that, it was super easy and quick. My first ride with the bike was a dream. It was comfortable, easy, and was just right for the trails we typically ride. My husband, who doesn’t have a bike of his own, rode my old bike. I got to enjoy watching him struggle, shift gears when he didn’t want to, and lose his chain several times during the ride. By the end, he understood why I needed a new bike and why I was so happy with my purchase. This bike makes me feel comfortable, confident, and even cute! It has been on many many rides since I purchased it and is still as wonderful as the first time.

I am soooo IN LOVE with my cream EVRYjourney!!!!!
First off, my apologies for the novel. After TONS of research, I decided on this Sixthreezero EVRYjourney cruiser in Cream. My criteria: 1) Multiple gears…Even though I live near the very flat beach, my husband likes to go biking wherever we vacation. One-gear didn’t seem to work well in grass at times. 2) Aluminum frame was preferable for lighter weight and possibly better with the sea air. 3) Frame that was comfortable for longer legs. I am 5’6” with longer legs and I felt smooshed on the Urban Lady. 4) Wider cruiser handlebars felt more comfortable for me, as opposed to the hybrid bars. 5) Step-through frame. I am chunkier and, although my hope is to ride more to lose some of this weight, not very graceful…my klutzy ways could use the ease of the lower step-though. 6) Shimano components at this price-point are nicer than non-Shimano parts. 7) Ease of assembly…Not sure if my husband would be home to assemble and I REALLY didn’t want to bring it to a bike shop and lose all of my savings with the assembly. 8) An included rear bike rack would be a bonus as I would have to add one later anyway…added expense. 9) And, honestly, I wanted a FUN bike! Although I preferred the turquoise color (or coral, which isn’t available in this model), I “settled” on the cream with orange rims because it was $100 cheaper…couldn’t pass that up. I tried out a Firmstrong Urban Lady and Firmstrong ANYjourney at a local national sporting goods chain. I liked the ANYjourney (didn’t know that it existed) but the hybrid handlebars were uncomfortable for my shoulders and wrists. Felt very mountain-bike-ish and not relaxing. I ended up ordering the Firmstrong Lady Chief for taller ladies (5’6” and up) but returned it as it was over 75” long. Wouldn’t be fun to mount on the back of our vehicle. I soooo LOVE this bike!!! After owning it for a month, and taking it on MANY outings, I just love this mode of transportation!! The shifting is AWESOME!!! I have always had hybrids/mountain bikes or road bikes (for triathlons) with two-hand gear shifts. This single handle-shift is very fluid. I just shift the crank back and forth, with one hand, switches between gears nicely & quickly. It is definitely NOT a light bike but anything next to my road bike is crazy heavy so it’s not an issue…it’s actually lighter than I expected. I can pick it up and load it onto the bike rack or move it around the garage without a problem. Assembly took my husband less than an hour. This was mainly due to his looking for the hardware packet. It was supposedly in a separate pack, according to the assembly manual, but everything was actually already ON the bike and he just needed to loosen, attach things, and then retighten. The seat wasn’t assembled…I just looked on YouTube and found an assembly video by Huffy…no worries. I am sooooo HAPPY with this color combination!! Initially, I thought that it would be boring (cream??) but it is actually a very pretty pale yellow that brightens with the sun. The orange rims add a nice FUN pop of color. It’s a very “happy” cruiser! :) I try to spread sunshine wherever I go…and now I have a happy little bike to take me there. It was also fun to accessorize! If I didn’t already live at the beach, I’d definitely feel like the beach came to me with this beach cruiser. Beach Bikes has also been a wonderful support. Even though the bike was sold and stocked by Amazon, the support immediately came from Beach Bikes. It was mind-blowing how much support they provided from over 2500 miles away! Definitely helped me to feel comfortable in my decision to buy online. I was glued to the tracking, as I bought the last bike in stock and was afraid that the numbers were off and it would switch to “Arrive within 1-2 months”. I was well aware of where the bike was throughout the week. Even though it was Prime, it stated that it would take an additional 1-2 days…that estimate was accurate. It took a while to ship out but it arrived on time, by Fed Ex, delivered right to my door without a problem. No issues with USPS refusing to deliver a bulky package, as some recent reviews stated. I easily carried the HUGE package to my garage without any additional help…It was “light”. OVERALL…I am sooooo happy with this rather large online purchase. I have no problem changing my review later, should issues occur. I’ve owned my bike for two months and STILL loving every ride!!! I love that family bike rides are FUN again!! I am the one who if begging people to go out with ME now!

Skeptical, but SOLD!
I was skeptical about buying a bike online. I wanted a bike with a comfortable seat that was easy on my back. This bike is all those things and super cute, too! The cream is definitely a light yellow and is a very fun color with the orange rims. I have never assembled a bike before, but am not afraid of a challenge. It came mostly assembled. I had to put on the front tire, the handlebars, the pedals and the seat. Then also adjusted the brakes and the gears. The instruction booklet was very easy to follow. My only suggestion would be to make the font and pictures a tad larger. I found myself squinting to decipher the pic details on some images. It took me a couple of hours to do this, but I went at a leisurely pace and enjoyed the process. I'm happy to say that I can tend to my own bike now that I understand how it works (in the beginner's sense). The bike was in perfect condition and packaged exceptionally well. I've already received compliments from my husband and brother-in-law about what a nice bike it is. I think my husband wants one, too! The maiden voyage: I stopped riding my mountain bike YEARS ago as it was so uncomfortable, even with a new seat, and really missed it. So, I really wanted this to be great. After about a 4-mile first trip, I can say that this bike is extremely comfortable. My tush didn't hurt at all on the seat, just my leg muscles which is exactly what I'm after! There does sound like there is a little rubbing on the front fender and the the brake was squeaking, but I feel confident that I can make a few adjustments and get things perfect. The only con so far is the tilting of the seat. No matter how tight I think I have tightened the nuts, the seat is still not staying in place on it's tilt. I had my hubs tighten it again, so we'll see if it stays. Great bike! I have told all my friends to buy one. I am so happy to have rediscovered my love of biking!

Excited to start enjoying my EvryJourney
7/8/19: So an update that I had to take the bike to a bike shop as we were unable to successfully put the front break on so that it worked appropriately. (Aside: I have never put together a bike and do not do my own maintenance so someone else may have an easier time). But they also have to adjust the back break as it is rubbing on the wheel (I did not put this part together, it came assembled). And, he showed me that the gear mechanism also needed adjusted. So, I am spending $60 to get my brand new bike working properly. Buyers beware. It seems to be a very nice bike, but these are likely the pitfalls of buying a bike online. Next time I would likely try to find the type of bike I want in a local store. Just finished putting my new bike together. It is darling and the seat seems to be very comfortable. Will let you know after a few rides. It did come partially assembled but still took me a couple hours. Many of the directions were straight forward and easy to understand. A few were more confusing and the picture did not help explain it. But, we finally figured out each tricky step. The bike came in a box and looked packed well. I did find 2 dents in the rear fender (which was already on the bike). I emailed the company in hopes of getting a replacement...looks pretty easy to remove and replace. The bike is really beautiful and my short ride was smooth and comfortable. I cannot wait to start riding all over the neighborhood...but now that I see the bike...I really DO need a cute basket for on the front!

Mix up delivery was great bike!
I ordered the cream evryjourney and Amazon delivered the Coral Around the Block from Sixthreezero. The beach cruiser was packaged very carefully with great attention to detail to ensure bike was not damaged in transit. I received Coral.Around the Block with all parts including assembly instructions. There was minimal assbly required. Adjusting the handle bars and seat was a breeze. This was a one gear bike so you pedal backwards to stop. That brought back some childhood memories!! Bike is comfortable. I can sit upright and not have to overreach on the handle bars. Pedals are easily reached and seat adjusting keeps body and knees aligned. This was important to me as I have a bad back and knees. I have no problems getting on an doff bike due to drop down bar on frame. The men in the house enjoy the drop down bar on the beach cruiser also..... This bike is so easy to manuever and ride. Everyone in my family loved it. That is why we did not return this bike when I received the wrong one. (Access to new bikes was nonexistent in my area in Feb 2021 due to pandemic. Only by ordering a new bike could you obtain a new bike) Sixthreezero was attentive to my customer sevice questions regarding Amazon's misdelivery. Even though they could not address Amazon's error Sixthreezero was very attentive to my needs. I actually ended up ordering the bike I wanted (Evryjourney 7 speed) directly from Sixthreezero with no issues. Both bikes are loved editions in my home and I am very satistfied with both. My husband and son enjoy the Around the Block beach cruiser as the ride is smooth and comfortable. I foumd the ride quite comfortable also. The bike has a rear rack for those quick stops at grocery store and rides in the park or at the beach. The construction is solid and the bike is lightweight. Solid tires are good for any rougj terrain. The seat is well padded and comfortable. I would definitely recommend both this bike and this company to anyone looking for a solid well built bike.

Much better than comparable models
Just for reference: I’ve had this bike for about 2 weeks. My husband put it together. We store it inside. I mostly ride it through out neighborhood and on the hilly Tennessee Green Ways, which are paved trails through woods and by the water. Not a lot of off-roading, outdoor storage, or extremely prolonged use. I’ll start with the obvious: You don’t sacrifice style OR functionality in the bike. The curvy frame and cream color make it just the right amount of cute. I’m only 5’2.5” and the step-through is a great height for me to swing my little legs over. With my small stature, I also don’t find the bike to be too big, unyielding, or imposing. It handles well, even if you’re on the small side. The included instruction manual is detailed and helpful. At no point did my husband feel like we'd have to take it in to a shop to be assembled, like we had to do with his. When it comes to the seat, let me start by saying I think the phrase “comfortable bike seat” is an oxymoron. This seat is comfortable enough, if you have it adjusted properly. It took me a few rides to realize I was sliding forward too much and needed to angle it up more. Otherwise, the wide base of the seat means you can distribute your butt in a mostly comfortable way - a way that gets top marks for me on the bike seat comfort scale - unlike the seats on comparable bikes. Of course, long bike rides will leave you with a sore rump, so don’t expect memory foam here. The brakes are incredibly responsive. You’ll feel like you are in complete control the entire time, whether you’re trying to stop quickly or just influence the rate at which you’re coasting. They also, in my experience, feel pretty well balanced. I don’t find myself trusting the front or back brake more than the other, which allows me to alternate between them when trying to stop, as many suggest for the safest stop. There is a satisfying click when the gears shift, and the shifting system looks sleek on the bike. It’s my favorite that I’ve ever had/seen. You can actually feel the mechanical change from gear to gear, especially when you’re trying to tackle hills (but read the rest of the review to hear more about how this thing handles on hills). It makes it easy to decide which gear you should be in based on your situation. Pedaling gets noticeably easier or harder with each gear shift. There are a few downsides, but **disclaimer** my most notable complaints are subjective and are based on how I use the bike. These things may not apply to you whatsoever. This thing is not ideal for inclines. No matter which of the 7 gears I put it in, I’m at a near standstill, painstakingly propelling myself upward. It is a comically slow process. It’ll do it, but I have to admit that you’ll be feeling the burn. Full disclosure, though: I am small, but out of shape. I’m sure someone with more power and stamina could make their way up faster and with less effort. If you plan on riding it in a fairly level place, you’ll also have a great time with few complaints. Because of the step-through, you’ll need a bike bar to put this thing on a suspended bike rack. We have been putting it on our rack without the bar, and it just feels precarious. Better to get the bar. That being said, having the step-through (to me) is worth this, even if it means spending an extra $15-$20 to safely secure it to a rack. Overall, this bike is perfect for me. It’s cute, reliable, and well worth the money. That’s coming from an extremely frugal person, too. I had initially bought a $130 Huffy that I had to return after weeks of broken, warped, defective parts. Just be honest with yourself and choose a quality bike like this one.

Great hybrid beach cruiser!
The women's 7-speed aluminum frame hybrid beach cruiser is everything my wife wanted. She requires the beach cruiser type handle bars due to her shoulder ailments. The typical mountain bike type handle bars aggravates the shoulders. The 7-speed is perfect for the gentle hills in our area. The bicycle is well made and came well packaged. The only damage found was a dent on the front fender that obviously was not caught in the factory QC process as it was not caused by shipping but was perfectly finished with the paint after it was dented. the packaging was extensive to prevent damage during shipping as much as possible. The instructions were written adequately with illustrations. Most of the screws were pre installed so that insured proper threading before leaving the factory. A spare hardware package was included as well as a basic tool kit to assemble the bike. The hex wrenches were OK, the "multi-nut wrench" was just stamped steel. It is best to use your own tools. In reading previous reviews indicating poor quality or quality control, obviously sixthreezero has addressed those issues very well. Assembly took about an hour after un-packing. The bicycle is very well made and attention to detail in the design and finish is well done. I've seen bikes priced well above this price point that were inferior to this level of quality. Bottom line....my wife loves the bike's ride, comfort and features. P.S. If you don't know how to assemble a bike and adjust brakes, gearing, or etc., find a friend who has done it, instead of unfairly complaining in a review. Just because it's a bike, doesn't mean no adjustments needed.

Comfortable, good quality and good looking bike, came damaged in shipping
The bike is good quality, comfortable and relatively easy to assemble. The back rack is especially durable and we look forward to shopping for a basket in front to complete the look too. Can't wait to take this for strolls at the farmers market, beach or local parks. One negative is the rear fender and brake cable came slightly damaged in shipping. While customer support was able to start shipping replacement parts, it took about a week to get a response and will take 2-4weeks to ship here which isn't good as a Christmas gift because it won't really get repaired in time. Just wanted to mention this since the repair process can be a bit lengthy if any parts are damaged so better to get started on it right away! That said it is a good bike overall though and I think we will be enjoying it a lot in the upcoming days.
