Isle of Dogs Refreshing Waterless Shampoo, 9 Ounce

My Corgi plays with several other dogs in our building and will come back with slobber on her face. Since she’s not completely dirty and hates baths, this has been a great way to clean her up between play dates and her real baths. Smells like grapefruit like it says, and she doesn’t object to having foam put on her. Would highly recommend.

We'll start with the con's because there are more of them:1)absolutely does not smell like grapefruit. Not entirely sure if it was supposed to or not, but it has a dreadful (imho) flowery smell. (Disclaimer, I hate lavender/rose/and most other floral scents.)2) My dog is elderly and has disc issues, so I don't like picking him up in order to put him in the tub (and I don't have a walk in shower). He'd not had a bath for a good long while and his coat was pretty oily. This product did NOTHING for that oiliness when used as directed. It just added to it with a more chemically film. There was zero dirt or debris that was on the towel that I used to "towel dry" him. I ended up having to get another towel sopping wet to try to wash the stuff off. The smell remained overpowering for 2-3 days after that. It's been over a week and I can still smell it when I get close to him .Pros:1) easy to apply2) after I washed it off, it did make his coat shinier. But the whole point is to not have to use water...

This is my go to product for cleaning up coats at dog shows. Works great for home too! I put the foam directly on the coat, work it in and then let it sit for a minute. Then I go over the area with a damp towel. Great for removing pee spots, especially in white fur!

I bought a few waterless shampoos (and puppy Fabreez items as my other half calls them). Of the four I have, this is the worst. The smell isn't bad and is quite refreshing. However, it does not overpower the smell of dog. I have three (this one included) shampoos and one spray. I've tried it a few times and I like that the smell isn't overwhelming, but it just doesn't linger like the others. As soon as it dries, the dog smells like what he did before I used the shampoo.

I use this waterless shampoo on my greyhounds. I have tried a number of different brands of waterless shampoos, but Isle of Dogs left my girls’ coats the shiniest of any I tried. It has a light and pleasant scent and rubs into their fur easily. My 13-1/2-YO’s legs buckle in warm water so I especially limit her baths. The shampoo comes in several scents, none of which are overpowering.

This isn't the same as giving them a bath but she really seems to like it and it has a nice smell. There is a little bit of a residue or I would have given it 5 stars. I am very satisfied with this product

I am a Groomer/Breeder, and am very impressed with it. Has a pleasant smell in comparison to the other brands (Plush Puppy, ...) and I find it works best if put on a towel & then rubbed into the coat. I use it to clean up growing area of my boy at the end of each day to keep him in "Show" condition & keep the feathering under the loin clean & maintained.

Like the product a lot, smells great, just was open in package and leaked.

I'm using this mostly on a Shih Tzu face furnishings, and it works well. I do prefer to rinse it out but you don't have too.

A bit sticky and there isno real scent. You almost have to use water to get the stuff out and it makes my pet itch.
