Super loud. Don’t blast it indoors without ear protection unless you absolutely must. Easy to hold and use.

Bought it with other competitors, this is the only keeper because of the easiness to blow and the high loudness level

I have two of these whistles, and use them regularly while white-water kayaking.They are very loud (more so than my Fox Mini whistle). Just as important, they work even when wet (in fact, you can hear them pretty far even if they are submerged). And none of the parts are vulnerable to rust.Not as compact as some other whistles. But still pretty manageable--they fit easily within any PFD / life-jacket pocket.

I purchased this for a friend to keep them safe.Why is Amazon not taking the time to send us the correct color of products we order? I ordered yellow and they sent a black one. This is the second time in one week that they sent the wrong product.Aside from that… this is a fabulous whistle and I think it’s a very fair price for something that could potentially help get you out of a jam.It’s constructed very well and I like the size very much.I really think everyone should have one of these for times when you’re away from home.

This whistle is fantastic and can be used for any purpose for anybody! Inexpensive and high-quality plastic. I am giving this whistle 4 stars instead of 5 only because I asked for the color yellow and received black instead. Not a big deal, just annoying.

I bought the larger storm whistle, which is a bit louder. However, I bought the windstorm whistle for those times when I need to have a loud whistle in my mouth and need to keep my hands free - such as biking. I put a whistle on a lanyard to ensure it doesn’t fall on the ground if I go over a bump. There is a pea inside and it gets the attention of distracted drivers and pedestrians. The smaller size compared to the storm whistle allows it to more comfortably fit into my mouth to be ready at any time. I use the larger whistle when walking.

WOW! This WINDSTORM Safety Whistle is really loud. When I blew into it my younger dogs were puzzled and my older deaf dog even heard it. Being a senior citizen I think this will be a great safety measure for me. I am going to attach it to my keychain. I wish I could afford to buy more for some of the senior citizens where my friend lives. My friend lives in a gated community for all ages really, but I heard of an incident just recently. A senior went out to her upstairs patio and got locked out somehow. She was yelling for help but it is summer in Scottsdale, Arizona and it is 115 degrees during the day often. Everyone's air conditioners are going strong and it was hard to hear her. She was finally heard and suffered no ill effects but this whistle would have been a considerable help for her. The price is reasonable and I may well purchase a few more. Again it is really loud. Great product!!

Worthwhile purchase. Highly recommend by a Search and Rescue friend. It's lightweight and very loud.
