NOT the concertina
5 stars for Seawhite concertina sketchbook, but the item sent (in two separate orders) was the regular notebook bound sketchbook with sticker saying "concertina". If you get the correct item let us all know in your review since this concertina is AWESOME for mixed media and I'd love to buy it on Amazon.

Not the Pictured Item but Liking the Square Pages
Not the pictured item. It’s a regular book with two covers and pages inside. But I like the square pages and hoping the paper is good with watercolor.Four stars because of the wrong item. I’m keeping it for the smaller size square pages.

Check your product when you get it
The book I got was torn on the inside cover and looked like it had gotten wet. Returning it.

The best
As aleays with Seawhite the 140 gsm all media paper is just right for my sketchbooks. Am filling the pages with around 50:50 fineliner and watercolour. No bleeding or cockling. 17 openings in each side of the book. The pages are folded over at the top so could use 34 openings. Perfect!

Pleased
I bought this for use with Pelikan 4001 fountain pen ink and a pen adapted to use a Zebra G nib. The paper works perfectly - no bleed and the surface is only ever-so-slightly rougher than bristol board. The concertina form of the pad will take a little getting used to but should open up greater possibilities with landscape type drawings.

Works well with wet or dry mediums
Love this journal, perfect for continuous sketching. Takes wet medium well. Needs elastic bands or clips to keep it together when on location.

This is fantastic. Thick pages so even if you do use paint it doesn't leak through. I'll be buying another as soon as I fill this one.
