As a ski instructor, I’m walking on pavers, concrete and asphalt. For anyone who is aware, the scuff pads on the bottom of the boot are made to wear. However, if you are not vigilant and the wear continues into the sole of the boot, it compromises the boot’s fitting with the bindings and that could spell trouble. That’s where these walking cleats come in. They are meant to keep your boots from taking the wear and reduce/eliminate the risk of excessive wear.My complaint is simple. They are not made of a material that has a strong elasticity to form to the lips of the boot. Not all boots may have the same lip profile (don’t know for sure), but my cleats have slipped off twice in five uses. I’ve verified whether they are the right length and they are. Because they slip off I cannot trust to step out of them. I’m constantly having to look down to see if they are still attached. That’s a true inconvenience. I think they should fit and stay attached.They did arrive fast. They have a good tread.

Used these a few times for walk long walks in Vail village and at beaver creak. Much easier walking in skis boots, gives more cushion and I feel less likely to slip and fall on stairs, concrete or ice! Easy to adjust the sizing so they fit your boot size.

I ski a lot, and often find myself walking on abrasive surfaces that quickly wear out boot soles. The SkiSkootys make those sometimes long walks comfortable, and eliminate excess wear on my boots. They are also great for hiking into off-piste terrain where the extra traction and comfort make a huge difference.

I was told about these and that they were easier to put on them another brand. Not so for a larger boot, I’m a size 13. Wish they went on easier.

Love, love, love this item. The rocker bottoms make these a great traction for bottom of your ski boots when not skiing. They make walking comfortable. I have walked over 2 miles in ski boots with these on, and was completely comfortable.

These don’t look like they would do a lot. However, they make walking soooo much easier. Definitely recommend

I have been skiing for 50 years and finally added the SkiSkooty to my list of accessories. I find the need at many of the ski areas throughout the US to walk great distances, usually on pavement or cement. This frustrates me because of the wear and tear it causes my ski boots. My recent ski trip required some serious walking. So I purchased the SkiSkooty to help with this cause. I slipped them on and instantly could tell the difference they made in walking comfortably while protecting my boots. It was incredible! These are the only type that I have ever tried, so my experience is limited. However, they made my trip so much more enjoyable.
