Seiko - Men's Watch SRPE51K1

Handsome and understated against many of the Seiko 5 Sports range and with a slightly smaller case size, this is my first venture in the world of automatic watches - and I am very pleased I chose so carefully. I have teamed it with a relatively expensive mesh strap and it looks amazing, but the factory strap is just as satisfying, as it is nicely made and continues the brushed/polished combination of the case and bezel. Great service and price from WatchNation too. Highly recommended.

Sophisticated watch I have ever had.

I like the understated but classy looks - a change (for me) from Military style watches and this one isn't too bulky or heavy like some Seiko's. It has good luminosity at night with green glowing hands and indices. The strap is good with push button opening and a flip over safety clasp so I'm really happy with it as my daily wearer. Having worn it awhile it keeps accuracy to about +10s a day so better than it's stated spec, nice to have a mechanical watch for a change and the lume at night is very good but obviously need light to charge the Lume.

It's a really good watch. It is my first mechanical watch and I did quite some research online and YouTube and I am glad I did. This watch is perfect, sporty but can be dressed up.

This is probably one of the best watches for the money now. An everyday watch that can be worn for a formal dinner too. I bought mine for a all purpose watch that I could mod to give it that wow factor, changing dial, chapter ring, hands, crystal and strap definitely did this. Couple of complaints is the original strap quality ( strap change certainly recommended) and the lack of screw down crown ( Only 100m instead of 200m) but then again it's not a dive watch just an everyday one, so can be excused.

I have been looking forward to buying this watch, and thought buying from Amazon would assure me about quality of product and service. Now imagine my horror when I open the box and it clearly looks like a used watch, the box was not sealed, the watch has protective stickers missing and some removed and stuck again. The watch itself looks fantastic, but I am not paying for a new watch to get a used one!

Nice watch, for anyone wondering about water resistance it is 10 bar , which basically means everything except diving.

Fast delivery, good price , keeps good time for a mechanical watch , bracelet could be better ? But overall disappointed with this watch . After a few months it needs regulating as loses 5 minutes a week now !

I've had this watch for a few weeks now and I've been very happy with it. It was easy enough to remove links to fit my wrist. I have a smaller wrist and this sits nicely and looks appropriate. The fit and finish are very nice. The low-ish power reserve is a bit annoying, but I knew the reserve when I bought the watch. I have not tested the water resistence. The dial is very easy to read. However I have found that I am not a fan of the dots in place of numbers. Next time I would go with a watch with traditional numbers. Still giving this watch 5 stars because the issues that I have with it are all clear and up front. Just points to consider if you choose this watch.

Lum très correcte voire excellente. Bon rapport qualité/prix.

Sehr gute Uhr. Sieht einfach gut aus und für den Preis ein echtes Schnäppchen. Trage sie aber mit Kautschukband da das Edelstahl Armband etwas unangenehm ist auf Dauer oder ein Lederband.

The watch is great, even looks better in person. Runs well inside the advertised accuracy margin, mine runs +20 seconds a day. The wrist band is also great for a watch in this price range, I don't know why many people whine about that. It's one of the best everyday automatic watches you can buy at this price. Great history, in-house movement and long-lasting. With a lug to lug of only 44mm, this watch rests well on small wrists. Then why the 4-star? Seiko quality control sucks. Misaligned indices are very common with Seiko watches, so you're gambling each time you buy one online. However, you don't have to worry about it if you don't have OCD and buying it below retail price. Do I recommend it? Well not at the retail price (500 Aussie dollars). At this range, you're better off with a Tissot PRX 35mm which is a well made Swiss watch with excellent bracelet and finishing, similar size (lug to lug) to this Seiko but with a quartz movement.
